As a retired RN,I agree that in most areas the Emergency Rooms are overwhelmed, so I would advise you to go by ambulance. So sorry that y’all are ill, prayers for healing.

My 75 year old mom will not go to the hospital any other way except by ambulance 😂 she'll call me or my son and say I'm going hospital and we will say we will come take you ... and she'll say I hear the siren you can meet us there 😂

You go Mom! It's dignity and security. Not many mothers want their children seeing them vulnerable or helping them. I tend to get irritated by our EMS. "We are not a taxi service. Your vitals are fine." They leave without the individual. First they should not be diagnosis in the first 10 mins and diminish someone's concerns. Second, many times vitals are normal when help first arrives. It's a thing. If an adult calls for help, EMS should provide the help. Even as a nurse I've butt heads. I either have Dr orders or a very good reason to call for transport.

Also make sure you both get up and walk around every hour to keep from getting pneumonia if you don’t have it also it will keep you blood clots from forming. My daughter is a RN and I have had pneumonia 3times the best thing you can do is get meds and lots fluids and rest if not going to hospital ❤❤😻🙏

Heyyy girlfriend ❣️ My daughter has been really sick with the same thing. She had bronchitis and walking pneumonia. She got so dehydrated that she passed out and her grandbabies don't know how to call 911. After she came to, she called my granddaughter at work. She rushed home and called some people to help get my daughter off the floor. They called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital where they ran a bunch of tests and gave her IV fluids. Be sure you and your mom are getting plenty of fluids and electrolytes. Sending all my love and healing energy for you and your mom ❤❤

I've prayed that you would be able to kick this virus quickly, but it sounds like you and your mom have RSV. I had it from December 22 through February and ended up with pneumonia. You described the breathing and chest gurgling perfectly. You said earlier last week that your throat had been sore. That's how mine started. Then, 2 days later, I thought I was dying, too. Important to use a pulse ox to check oxygen. You can get one at walgreens or cvs. Pulse ox saved my life. My oxygen was in the 70s which prompted me to go to the ER. I was in resp failure with pneumonia.

They have oximeters on timu! And another vlogger said she tested it with one from a store that was very expensive and they worked just the same. Just saying🎉😂

I've purchased quite a few from Temu. There was one brand that was very iffy, more didn't work than did. Those were white with royal blue, I think the cheapest. The ones I have the best luck are white.

An oximeter reading may be just the thing for your mom to agree to an ambulance. If you don’t feel well enough to leave the house, Walgreens makes home deliveries or you can order online and pick it up at the drive thru.

Hi lady! So glad you are back! Tammy let us know last night that you and your sweet mama were sick! I wore that same exact shirt today! Bought it because you made me laugh so hard when you hauled it!! Hope your mama doesn't have to go to the ER. Here if you go by ambulance, it isn't any quicker! The paramedics will just park you in a hallway or off to the side in the ER and you still have to wait! Really sucks! Have a good night! Hey sorry to hear you and your mom have been feeling bad ,I also had flu shot but was sick as a dog with the congestion and coughing could not taste or smell but I did not test positive for COVID they just said it's the flu ,even though had the shot 😩 prayers for your mom and speedy recovery it took me 6 days before I felt better ❤️🙏🏼

While in the Navy, my hubby's ship was station in Japan. He and several of his buddy's did the Mt Fuji climb, back in the early 70's. He brought back a walking staff that they burned an emblem at each level that they climbed to.

My Dad had a really bad fall and broke 3 ribs he is 82 and I had to call an ambulance because he refused to it took an hour before they came because it was not a emergency then we waited 12 hours in the waiting room then we had to wait another 6 hours before a doctor seen him he is still in the hospital 4 weeks now our health care sucks in Canada. Please make sure you just call and get your mom in the hospital. Dad now has bad lung infection. I am still praying for both of you.Hugs and prayers❤❤❤❤
