This Tesla Left Him Stranded With No Warning!

Hey guys!
On today’s video, we’re towing a Tesla Model 3, that left the driver stranded on the side of the highway, when the battery suddenly dropped charge, significantly reducing its range! Likely due to the high temperatures we’ve been experiencing lately. We’ll also be towing a Ford F-350, from a local body shop!

I don't necessarily mean to pass judgement, but he seemed like he had something going on... He seemed jittery, walking back and forth between the lanes and off the road, didn't put the truck in park before exiting, just strange... Hopefully he's alright.

He's got me noticing all the flatbeds out there; they are ubiquitous. Riding my bicycle Sunday I saw one getting a box truck off the sidewalk, so I was assessing his procedures in putting the end of the bed, straddling the curb. I was wondering "what would Dustin do in this situation"? 🤔

Nice that it went into tow mode. They can be a pain in the ass. I had one 4 levels up in a parking garage and the stupid thing had full power but the drivers side window wouldn’t lower or go up and it wouldn’t go into tow mode.

They come with hubcaps for aerodynamic improvements to increase range. Most new EVs include them regardless of price or spec.

Have friends in Britain who invested in an EV, and they were told it would be cheaper and the way of the future. I now see they are leveraging road taxes on EVs, and if you have to charge on any highways, the electricity is on par with Diesel. The only savings currently is charging from home, which I expect will eventually go up for charge too because Britain doesn't have a lot of electrical generation, even with wind and solar complimenting it.

Dustin: you can press and hold both buttons on the steering wheel for a hard reset. I believe 5-10 seconds, the screen will go blank when successful.

I actually know nothing, except for this one experience A friend with a Tesla wanted to show me a huge charge station. On the way back the car decided it needed a software update so we parked in a gas station parking lot eating Subway sandwiches for an hour Not an experience that would make me want one

It’s your opinion. What works for them isn’t for everyone. Teslas are great cars. All things break down. Tesla sold more cars than VW last year. It’s not about a hybrid, many people just want a Tesla, not an EV.
