You can see the difference in the gameplay of Jean once she has the 5 bars. Jean solo’d in game 6-9 of the first set without even using dark phoenix because he was comfortable and confident seeing the max gauge. Great gameplay and Justin you’re a monster with how quick you can analyze and adapt. those first games you got cooked and came back without playing lame. Great games to both. It’s always cool to see high level play for fun

It's crazy how hard Justin has to work in UMVC3 using a rush-down strategy. Mark of a champion because the best way to play UMVC3 is keep-away and flooding the screen. But Justin can win playing rush-down oriented teams. PS - heart my comment Justin!

And Justin has the most patient rush down Wolverine team I've ever seen too lol 😂! I loved how he and KBR playing against the meta rushdown teams won EVO back to back! They both proved you don't have to follow trends or play top tiers to win it all. Legends both of them.

I think it's if you have 5 bars when Phoenix dies she'll rise again as Dark Phoenix

@@naansequitur No no no, I know how Dark Phoenix works. I moreso mean.. Look at 12:49. Phoenix is already down, but Dorm still switches to Phoenix, even though she has 0 health, which makes it so he dodged the Ice Storm and came out on the right side. That's what I'm trying to understand how that works.

It's called the Kubota escape. Used for very niche situations. Basically, for 1 bar, you swap to the downed character and come back. Mainly used to avoid chip for long-lasting hypers.
