I've recently applied Dura-Dressing to my tires. The Dura-Dressing gives the tire a very professional-looking appearance and it's completely dry to the touch. It's much better than any other dressing I've ever used.

Was shocked to see that these guys are literally right up the road from me in Wernersville, PA. I live down in Leola...Amishland...and ride motorcycle up near Wernersville quite often. Never did business with Apex nor do I know them but can say that the few folks down here who have, were thrilled with the level of service and quality of work. NOT cheap but then this kind of attention to detail and quality never is. Us PA dutch people take pride on our work. Happy to now know where you are.

Informative video, Brian. Thank you. IMHO...from a picky client perspective, the three coat process eliminates the slight blotchiness visible with fewer coats. Plus, multi coats will enhance longevity, distinctness/richness, and client satisfaction, and "word-of-mouth" promotion factor. The high gloss will eventually dissipate in time regardless. However, great product! Will get some!

I find that tire cleaning is the hardest part in just regular car washes. No matter the cleaning agent. The higher price ones seem to clean better. More of a squeaky pleasant looking clean after reapplying tire dressing

Very simple test. No need to use strong chemicals. Use 3 layers on each tyre for optimum, impressive gloss. Then, drive the car at high speeds for 15-20mins, including hard braking. When you reach home, if the front tyre (not rear) still looks exactly as glossy as before, then its a great product.

Number 3 by a landslide. The first 2 tires were very blotchy. My 2 favorite tire dressings are chemical guys tire and trim gel and 303 foaming tire shine.

This Artdeshine looks like it behaves more like a tire coating than a traditional dressing. Even after being hit with the heavier cleaning agents, it looks like it held up really well. I could see this lasting a very long time (several months or more) on a lightly driven vehicle such as a weekend only or "once in a while" type of vehicle.

Thanks for posting this Brian. I was curious how it looked when I show it in your store. This seems to work very similarly to the Jade Acrylic Tire Dressing at Xtreme Solutions. I use 3-4 layers myself and will add a couple layers about every 5-6 weeks. I like the shine without any oily residue. Also apply with a foam applicator but I rinse out the applicator after I do all the tires to keep it from building up with product for the next time. The other thing I like is it has a UV inhibitor and I have a couple vehicles that sit out all year. Also good on trailer tires. I haven’t used this to compare, but it’s what I use and how I use it.

I don't like the "grey" overtones. The protection looks strong. But look at the tone difference while washing. The coated portions are grey hazed. While the "water wet", are deep black. Fireball tire dressing 4me. More work, but deeper, true tones. Another great vid!

Is it just the Bridgestone compound, on the flat rubber areas of the sidewall, save for the 3 coats, it looks blotchy. What would the third having sunk more into the pores then knocked back looked like? Had this on my Goodyears with another product but when simply washed and topped up solved the issue, probably something with the formed smooth rubber as oppose to the imprinted surface. What I've found that improves life, initial cleaning exfoliates the rubber pores, then you dress but blotch. After washing, if staying with the same product, I simply dry and use a rubber buffer [puncture repair type/rubber panel wipe] to prepare the outermost layer for bond, then dress, leaving the pores full. Think with tyre brands and rubber compounds it takes a few goes with differing products to find the one that best suits whilst your wearing those particular boots.

My Dunlops are the same, the smooth surface is a bugger to dress properly and looks blotchy, I've found applying with a small brush for that section seems to improve the look but still not perfect.
