After watching this blog, I asked my husband to cook the paksiw . Nakaka gana kayo kumain. Ang sarap ninyo kumain. Pag may napanood ako sa inyo maglagay a at napapabili ako sa store ng mga gamit ninyo like sa S&R Yong drink from Barcelona na Chocolat.

OMG 😳, wow na wow Napa kasarap ang ulam. PAksiw na bangus, pagtingin ko pa lang napalaway na ako. Yan ang Ganda nang pilipinas mga masasarap at kakaibang putahe. Kaya hinding hindi ako magsasawa panoorin kayo. Kuya Louie and Ma’am Gerlyn , isa kayo sa nagbibigay nang inspirasyon . Marami ako natutunan sa mga videos niyo. Gandang hapon, ang season po ngayon na prutas..sa nakikita ko sa market rambutan at dragon fruit. Sarap kumain pero ang hirap hanapin ng mga like ko po Persimmon, longgan, peach at plum po kc ang mga fruits na yun😊

The sweetest grapes is Cotton Candy which is seasonal at Costco. It’s too sweet for my taste but kids love ‘em. I prefer black grapes! I’m not crazy about apples also - unless they’re in Dutch Crumble Apple pies! lol

Enteng and all other typhoons will come to pass. That’s why, God willing we will visit our beloved country on January to March 2025. My children are all from Imus, Cavite. We left the Philippines last August 2018. It’s been 6 years since we left. I’m a Christian while my husband, French Italian is a Catholic. However, we pray together everyday . My husband is a gift from God for me and my children & grandchildren. He is very loving, responsible, very sensitive to my feelings & very understanding to the needs of my family back home. It’s our second marriage. He’s divorced after 32 years while II’m separated after 37 years and a widow in 2014. We met when I was 61 & he’s 63 and got married in 2018. Hi, Louie and Gerlyn. It’s Fler here from Florida. I’m watching your blog everyday. If I don’t see it, I watched your previous blogs. Today, I ate my lunch at 4:20pm & opened your blog. In case you’re wondering why 4:20, I started my intermittent fasting. I’m prediabetic and after I had the colonoscopy and endoscopy, I found out I have H-Pylori. The antibiotic & other medications made me lose my appetite & my taste. I started with 172 lbs as of Aug8 and at the end of August I was 159. I began to have a lifestyle change. Breakfast at 12pm, lunch at 4pm and dinner at 8pm. When you’re eating your paksiw na bangs from Sagan, I’m eating my cabbage as my rice and 2 little piece of sweet & sour chicken. I’m still longing to eat the pinakbet and paksiw. But my loving husband won’t eat it. He eats salmon,pasta, chicken & fresh salad. So, when I watched you having breakfast or lunch, I enjoyed it as if I’m there. Thank you for your blogs. It’s a Filipino version of a happy couple like us. God bless you both and your 2 kids making a big name on their music.

My sister has a friend with the same situation, battered wife. Hangang sa namatay yun friend ni ate. Many times din Sinabihan nya hiwalayan nya pero hindi daw magawa. Totoo problema lalo na sa situation ko ngayon it will also pass I leave it all to God! It took awhile for me to accept 1 year lahat binuhat ko at yun effect sa health ko stress, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia. Stress talaga is bad for health pero hindi mo ma avoid kasi nangyari na no way mo ma avoid kasi mahal mo na apektuhan it’s not only my husband who had the stroke it’s d whole family.

Tanong ko po sa inyo kung nag dual citizen ba kau? Kasi almost the same situation tau pero backwards lang ako ang mas matanda sa asawa ko kasing edad ni Gerlyn and almost 40 yrs na nagtatrabaho dito sa CA. Gusto ko rin sanang mag retire jan maybe in 7-10 yrs tingnan ko kung hanggang kaya ko pang magtrabaho napapagod na rin ako ang tagal ko na rin kasing nagtatrabaho sana 7 years na lang ok na in God’s time🙏🏼
