Today I'll show you the new Vectorize tool option in Illustrator on iPad. They brought Image Trace to the iPad but gave it a new name? Let's test it out!

@@pappysprite I do, place a no fill shape over the artwork to the desired size, select everything and create a clipping mask from the right hand properties menu. Hope this helps 😊

I’ve got a simple image without a background thank you for that but now it won’t go in the back of the stacking order where it needs to be!

You can open the layers panel and tap and drag the stacking order to your preference (there’s also a shortcut for this). Hope this helps 😊

How do I make my image not disappear when I vectorize?

You may have the Fill Color activated. Click on the Fill Color box in the bottom corner to negate the Fill until after your vector line work is done. Hope this helps 😊
