I'm a little confused for your border I followed everything you did and it keeps deleting my whole border even when I click the middle point.

I used a stroke to create the border with no fill color, if you have a default fill color active it will look like the border is deleted or if the points get double-clicked or right-clicked it will delete. Try creating the border on a separate layer and place it at the top of your layer stack in the layers panel if none of those options were the problem 😊

@@AngelaDesignsThings awesome thanks for the tip I think illustrator was glitching out or I was clicking the wrong layer. I went back and designer my own version. I used the same border for my card. I appreciate your help!
