You can solo Baron because 1. Yorick's pets take reduced damage from monsters, and 2. Baron's damage reduction from whoever it's attacking applies to pets, so if Baron is attacking one of your pets, you and the other pets deal full damage

Basically as long as yorick doesnt play like an idiot he should never die to illaoi's all in. Without all inning in lane Illaoi does not have pressure. Illaoi is a splitpushing pressure champion.

When you want to push aggressively, you can use your wall to tank turret shots ;D. It will shoot your wall before ghouls or maiden

@@biledox5576 yep, the wall will tank a number of tower shots equal to its health, and often your ghouls will run ahead of minions and take the first tower shots, so you lose a lot of damage. But if you run ahead and place the wall, the tower will shoot it first, which saves your ghouls, the tower then then target the cannon next, leaving you and your ghouls up to test the tower down :D Max level wall tanks 4 shots

I have found that running conquer and demolish under the resolve tree works very well especially in low elo. Can take inhib at 16, or all 3 tier 1 turrets before 14

I love Yorick. I always lv W before E against immobile champs like illaoi. The 5 hit terrain is crippling against them if the have no flash. Also, you can cancel channels with the wall as it displaces them if you aim the wall to be on top of them. Roughly 70-50 secs before drags, I send maiden top and roam to drag so they have to choose between objectives. Maiden WILL push towers by herself and you can TP to maiden if someone squishy tries to kill her and in turn kill them and push inhibs. Yorick is underrated af and has a unique play style. Very sad about the incoming nerf to his E mark for ghoul bonus damage.

If you thought this was fun, you should try on hit Yorick. His minions apply on hit effects other than lifesteal but at 5% dmg, the cleaver and executioner can be a fun combo :)

I love Yorick but I don't take lethality. I go 1 tear for early mana and minion kills. And I take Grasp of undying for more healing. And get some tanky runes. Then I build sheen - into Sunderer. Very powerful Q with that. I can take fights I never thought I could. But the greatest abuse power of Yorick is Demonic Embrace. Every single Ghoul, on hit, will do hp% burn. I literally melt their hp. Add to that Executioner's, the ghouls also apply grievous wounds. Melted a constantly healing Nassus with this. Ruined king also works with ghouls oh my. :D

yorick is the best counter to illaoi and has been for a long time now. the problem is that ghouls block illaoi's e and her tentacles dont one shot the ghouls at any point in the game so she is forced to lose the lane and get outpushed

Jax, Gwen, and Tryndamere are the most crippling champs to play against. With morde, you rush a Qss and lv W to tier 3 after lv 6. You maul him if even at lv 8.
