Good luck with your games! I just wanted to say that your videos have changed my two handed game so much, actually being able to understand fundamentals instead of just trying to follow movements. Thanks so much for all the work :)

I know I’m late here but I hope it went/goes well. 😁 Thanks to a lot of your advice I was able to pass the 200 mark for the first time with 241. 8 strikes in a row!! Very proud to have come so far, still learning and improving every day. 😊 Thank you Big Sky for all of your help. It has made a difference. 💜🙌

Do you ever try to throw a bigger hook with less speed over like 25 and get it out to 15? You throw a similar speed to me and I often times have to move way more left and throw to the same general break point.
@BigSkyBowler Жыл бұрын
When required to yes. Of course that depends on if the lane allows for it or not. Actually the tournament vlog I'll be posting soon will feature me playing some pretty deep angles.

was checking out 2 handed styles and saw this .....Ted & Tae Bowling Channel... check out his release, looks like his hands are on each side of the ball not over the top and below and it seems to work. just something interesting i thought but i'm sticking with your instructions

I checked it out. Honestly, all I see is an extremely muscled swing. He's not actually swinging the ball at all so the only way he generates speed is by force. Rev rate is the same too in fact, he doesn't get under the ball at all and only gets like 200 revs on the ball that way. Definitely not recommended, but interesting nonetheless.

What about the injury you had?! Did u manage to recover from it?

Feeling much better, thank you! I was able to practice today and throw 4 games. Things are still a bit tight, but with proper rest, stretching and continuing to take my meds I should be back in good shape by next week.

In your stance it seems like you're holding the ball way closer to the left side of your body than you have in previous videos - what's the purpose/result of that change?

I was having some swing issues, attempting to keep it from getting too far behind me in the backswing.

hey, the only ball i have rn is a tropical surge. what do you recommend for a spare ball? I bowl 2 handed btw

Plastic.

@@BeetleSpoon2770 whichever you prefer really. As long as it's plastic, hard and goes straight. Something with a pancake weight block so it doesn't hook more than a few boards.

You gotta work on your back swing. U torque your arm too far left behind u
@BigSkyBowler Жыл бұрын
It's something I've worked on a ton. You should have seen it two years ago.

@@BigSkyBowler have u tried flexing your elbow to the right or even bending it slightly? I had the same problem as u did until someone corrected me. made my release easier and more smoother.

It used to end up behind my left leg. Now I'm about a half a ball width more behind my head, which, according to my coach Mark Baker - is close enough to where it should be. Once my shoulder alignment got better, my swing lined up more.
