One reason I like your channel is your consistently showing the human interest side of wherever you might be. You can only watch so much of riding trails. keep up the good work.

Troy and OTE are absolutely OG. Rode Fruita fairly regularly from 98-2001, and went back about 7 years ago. The town and trail network have grown A LOT, but maintains a great vibe. Plus, now there’s great pizza at Hot Tomato!!!

I spent a week riding in Fruita in 2013. I was nursing a knee replacement and needed to get the darned thing working. I spent a little time in Over the Edge, but mostly rode. I returned to Minnesota with a much more cooperative knee. (and 2 cracked ribs.) Now, at age 71 I still love mountain biking. I'm ready for a trip back to Fruita next winter!

I first went to Fruita in the late 90s. The only parking was a turn around spot at the end of the road that only fit about 5 cars. The singletrack was about 10 inches wide. It was amazing. I haven't been there is 20 years. It's time to go back.

Drove from Sioux Falls, SD for the Fat Tire back in ‘11 with a truckload of friends...easily the best trip of my life. Too many (free) drink tickets, losing wallet/phone/camera in a mud pit, breaking the rear triangle of my S-Works Enduro...lively time. Get your asses out and ride these trails!

Great video and into to Fuita and OTE for me. We've been to OTE Hurricane and South Lake Tahoe. Nice to "meet" the owner and get a good vibe about the store locations. Pretty cool that he expanded so far afield... Fruita's on my list. Along with Bend, Sun Valley, Whistler, Lago di Garda, Graubunden, Tsali, etc...! PS Bloody knee.... hmmm didn't we (about a million commenters) say something about knee pads?!!! PPS So, Troy lived???

Just curious, when was this filmed? I was there in late October my wife and kids in a rented van and we absolutely loved it! Some good green trails for the beginners that are still fun for more advanced riders, and plenty of advanced trails for when you can get away for a solo ride. We tried to go to Moab but it was so busy we turned back for a couple more nights in Fruita. Did not disappoint, especially with Grand Junction just down the road. Would recommend, 10 out of 10.

Hi great video I came home and told my wife let’s move to Fruita. Well I saw you riding the Ripley I ordered a Ripmo but I’m wondering should I have gotten the Ripley. Typical trails for me are like the San Juan Trail Laguna stuff what do you think. I think I’m gonna love it but sometimes I think with the Ripley I’d be more efficient but but the Ripmo Will be funner for me anyways thanks and say hi to Hannah for me OK bye
