Hi. Im new to your channel. Im trying to find good products for my dry 4c hair. Of all the products you've tried, what do you recommend?
@CurlsofaCPA Жыл бұрын
@@shaylalestercloud3101 I don’t have 4c hair so I can’t say for sure but what I will say is most of the products that I try are made for type 4 hair (4C hair included). So when you hear me say products have good weight to them and are slippery then it’s a good indication to give it a try. Enjoyed my experience with the products in this video

I'm so late to this, but I definitely got the Rice water spray, shampoo and DC. I'll put it aside and get the other 3 next month and then I can use it all together. I just can't see a $100 charge on my account for hair products without getting a headache, so I split the bill to make it more palatable. 🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully I'll get similar results.
@CurlsofaCPA2 жыл бұрын
Splitting it up makes sense! I need the tea after your first wash day with the products 👏🏾 but I feel you on the point. I’m so happy that a little bit goes a long way for the most part

@@CurlsofaCPA I'll definitely keep you posted. I literally made note of what video this is so I can come back and tell you lol. I haven't bought anything since May 2021. I used up my stash and got heavy into DIYs, so seeing those kinds of charges now is very unfamiliar. And I don't like it.🤣🤣🤣 But I've been having some issues with breakage and I know rice water does great for me. I just don't like making it.

@@CurlsofaCPA girl, it wasn't necessarily by choice. The man who controls the finances (and nothing else🤣🤣🤣) said he wanted to see if I could go a whole year without buying anything hair-related. I said challenge accepted! I don't like losing. 😉😉😉 But I did take the money I would've spent on products I wanted to buy and put it into a savings account just to see how much I would've spent. It's about $3500 all together!🤯🤯🤯 So we're going on a nice vacation with that for our anniversary in October. We're not legally married, but after 10 years with me, he deserves it. 🤣🤣🤣 I was shocked that I spend so much money on hair products!!! I'm a reformed product junkie after that. I only buy things I either haven't figured out how to make (I'm even doing my own auyervedic shampoo now) or something for specific issues like a bond builder or something for my breakage like these products. It's been nice using up everything and having the extra space, too. I have a 15 shelf storage cubby and it's only got 5 shelves with products now instead of all of them being ful and still having shelves in my linen closet full. Now I can actually put my towels in there. 🤣🤣🤣 Alexis and SheRea gave me the idea about using my stash, and talking to it with Faye gave me the idea about the money. I even included taxes and shipping. I wasn't playing!

I which to see someone with black hair but not that young. Someone like in their 60’s that have gray, thin, black people natural hair. Because with age the hair get thin mostly because of getting gray hair and become fragile. So I would really like to know if that product works. You see your hair looks very, very healthy and I am not sure if your are a mixed raise with someone that have coarser hair. I am a mixed raise black with white but the white have a curly wavy hair so I got more of the black hair than the European type of hair. The rice water it’s starchy and it’s perfect for Indian/ Hindu, native south, central and North America people. Even people from Guam, Phillipins, Hawái, china or even Korean was born with that greasy shinny hair. They are require to wash their hair daily so removed the natural oil. That it’s how those type of hair get hair laise more frequently because the hair bug feed on that natural oil. People with curly/coarse hair it’s very hard to get it. Thank you for the presentation.
@grisdeleon3 Жыл бұрын
I meant to say with Lice. Lice feed on the natural hair oil

@@grisdeleon3 I am not mixed (both of my parent's are black/Jamaican) but I've seen people with many textures achieve a defined twist out. I also follow a couple women who are older and grey and I can gather those channels and share with you. When it comes to styling its about technique but if you're curious about how a product will work for you I generally say how the products make my hair feel and also who the products can work for and how to modify the application based on hair characteristics. I still know how important representation is so I'll share some other people with you. You can also look at their instagram page to see the various people using the products.

Sis how is it the top of your roots are so smooth they remind me of Rosie curly crown from NY. Your twist out stay 💣
@CurlsofaCPA2 жыл бұрын
thank you!!! and I can see that lol (the Rosie reference). The key to smooth roots is remembering to apply product to it and then smoothing, smoothing and smoothing lol I also take my time twisting my roots and try to get them as tight as possible without being too tight and I smooth my hair throughout the wash day as well. there was a time when I had a lot of breakage at my roots when it was harder to achieve but that trick where I apply my scarf right after twisting really helps (I leave it on for at least 30 minutes for the style to set). Not sure if you wanted this long explanation 🙈😂

yeah they can be on the pricey side but the price is because they are using quality ingredients (no fillers and crap) and also most of them are hand made and they can't buy ingredients in bulk like bigger companies. The good thing about quality products is your don't have to use a ton of it and it typically lasts longer....thats how I justify the prices lol
