Hi Hair Whisperer!!! I have been adding your amla powder to my shampoo since I found your channel in February. I'm also on a hair growth journey and I've been keeping my hair in 2 "space buns" for protection since February. I use your amla powder for my shampoo and your henna powder (both powders depending on my mood lol) for my glosses and masks. I found your channel after I had to cut about 3-4 inches of very split ends. My hair was past my bra strap, but above my waist line. My hair has since then grown back and I think even exceeded the length it was and it is much thicker, stronger and my curls are beeeeaaauuuutiful!! I use the elixir as well. All natural folks so no damage. First thing I bought was a blender. The heat is no joke. I'm moisturizing every few days if I go out in the hot sun. Tried braids but grew out too fast. Don't want to keep doing it. Heavy, hot and had to keep cutting them because of growth. Barely got 1 month off a braiding. Not expensive though and they braid fast here.

CP can you pls make a video for us fine thin haired ladies. (FTHL) I am a FTHL and the majority of the time I find it's better to keep my hair in a 3/4wk protective style (ie, braids, crochet, twist, faux locs) to help prevent breakage and promote growth due to low manipulation. This makes it hard to do a lot of your hair routines and or challenges. I can't leave my hair out for too long, it just doesn't thrive well when I do. I've been trying to change that. I've been following you and using your routines on/off for 2yrs (and now your products which I love!), my hair has grown out but is still at the same length stage it was when I began. I've been natural for a little more than 3yrs and have had to do a chop 2xs. I suffer from traction alopecia which is why I'm so glad I cans across your channel abs products. For right now though, I'd really just like to get it to grow past my chin and to not get droppings in the sink when I comb or style it, That'd be great! What say you CP? 😘

Hi, At first, the video was very clear. But then I got confused at the end when it was suddenly mentioned that the double treatment could be avoided, and it was possible to just put Amla in the shampoo. Does this mean that Amla is a protein substitute - and the egg isn’t needed? Is only one deep conditioning treatment needed? If so which one does the Amla replace? In general I always love your videos, personality, kindness, accent, and content. Your enthusiasm and creativity are limitless and bring me back over and over again. I always feel positive after I listen to you. one thing that might help a newbie girl out is - It might useful to reign in the scope of each video so the “newbie” doesn’t get overwhelmed. For example - just the old routine. It then give equal time to what the new routine is that replaces the old one. It would then be crystal clear. In the end, I’m totally inspired by you to go put oily goop in my hair - just not sure which goop! Egg or amla ?? lol

Loving your details. I have been on a vaca from all the steps in healthy hair mixing with hoping for longer length retention. When I know eggyokes and flaxseeds and chia seeds and sesame seeds, etc helped my hair a lot . Ugh. But I am happy, I am learning it’s okay to blend other stuff with my conditioner too. Not just bananas and avocados. Team amla and neem, etc. with out mineral oil. Okay. I would love a video on more pre poo recipes. And clay washes. And clarifying washes. And detox washes. Since I wash out these food prepoos and the oil prepoos. How many seeds to use in a flax egg. Or can we use chick pea liquid. ?? So many questions. Just curious since I know how to do all these things already I just would like some more advice. Thanks.
@LRH12 жыл бұрын
@ VanessaRenee.ButterflyReborn :- 1.) Chia eggs 1tsp (xsmall) to 1 Tbsp (xl ) of chia seeds then cover with twice the same amount of water that you use as chia seeds & stir constantly until a gelatinous starts to form. Gradually add in small increments the same amount of water and stir, since chia seeds absorbs & absorbs liquids quickly. Till you see your egg size expands before your eyes, try doing it in a clear cup or glass, until you choose the egg size of your choice. Fyi - if you have excess chia eggs, you can blend & use as a hair mask (remember to strain) or consume it.
@LRH12 жыл бұрын
@VanessaRenee.ButterflyReborn - you piqued my interest with chickpeas. I think you just gave me an idea to explore. I know chickpea flour does wonders on skin, so it should work as a hair food too. 2.) Regarding clay washes - it's great, the amount needed to whip up is determined by your hair length, clays allows ones to feed their hair beyond just using water or apple cider vinegar , it's messy, it requires time to both apply & then allowing the treatment to bloom on your strands . Clays can be mixed into a variety depending on your goals or you can use just one. Clay can also be used gently by whipping a few tips to tbsps into your hair conditioner if you opt of a less intensive clay session. Happy hair journey.
@vanessarenee.butterflyreborn2 жыл бұрын
@@LRH1 thanks for the tips on clay washing. I need all the help and encouragement on this top. As for the chick pea water. You need to blend it real good. Till it looks like meringue. If you are gonna use other stuff with it. Maybe mix it together. Or just check out how the chefs do it. And make your own. Tag me when you get it. I’m still working out my details with this ingredient. Happy healthy hair journey. To you too. (Top: alternative food proteins similar to an egg yoke or egg white or both. Maybe just buy the box of egg liquid or the vegan eggs or vegan egg liquid.)

@VanessaRenee.ButterflyReborn- appreciate the heads up. Thinking @ infusing it into a hair conditioner & using the broth as a hair rinse. I just finishing softening a cup of the chicken peas.lol. Otherwise I could incorporate the broth into my next clay day. Fyi- steaming your hair if you do a full clay mask allows your hair to pop nicely & the real texture will come forth.

So the seal is the protective hairstyle? What is the jar you are using for moisture? You showed it but didn't give a name. I have oils you listed and want to start today.

Perfect timing to be seeing this video now!!! 3 days ago, a hairdresser, who I paid to take out my individual plaits, HACKED OFF✂️my hair by cutting the extensions without taking into account the length of my real hair and he wound up chopping a good 4inches of my hair 😣😖😫😤😡 Beginning in January 2025, I am going to implement your OG vintage routine Monday-Sunday. I shall give a progress report, right here, around September 2025 … see you then 🤞 …

Thank you for the vegetarian/vegan option! I am neither at the moment, but I am allergic to eggs and don’t typically have them at my house. I used to just do an avocado, coconut milk, olive oil, and honey treatment which I also added a bit of conditioner to. It was great (but I have been so lazy). I imagine the one with the egg has much more protein though. I will have to try this if I can just get a small amount of eggs. Thank you for the routine! I need to try this!
