In my town 40 years ago, when we were a huge foresty sector town foresty and sawmills every where, sadly the death rates for cross cutters was 11 on average every year, especially upon cyclone season as whole forests were completely flaterned, as no mechanical equipment, strangely enough in the beginning of the 2000s majority of the foresty sector was mechanized with thousands of redundancy, then they converted them into dairy farms, 60.000 hectres gone in 6 years, sadly suicide is now our towns worst. 😢,stay safe Tim okay mate, I really enjoyed all of your episodes,

Nice work. There's nothing like a sharp stihl or husqvarna cutting through great oak. After a long hard day cutting you would smell like it. We called it oak cologn. $$$$$$

What dangerous work! The first of this type I've seen and I can't imagine what the families go through while you're working! So very glad you are truly safety conscious because I saw some places you were working where I almost didn't want to watch, but then I knew you were safe because this wasn't a "live" video -- thank goodness!

You guys do great work, but i hope the only time i have to make a call. It is because i want to take a tree down and not because it fell on my house.

Hard to watch when you were standing inside someone home cutting up a big tree. I know of people still dealing with insurance from IAN and living out of hotels. I don’t think the majority of people realize how bad something like this can turn life upside down and how long it takes to get things back on track.

It is so much better having the right equipment for the right job. And like other commenters stated, it's bad when you have to go inside a house to cut a tree. I hear there's a new scam going on that has to do with tree work. A person will come up to a property that has tree damage talk to a homeowner and give them a price to clean it up. But, they will say FEMA will pay 90% so all you have to pay is 10% right now to be put on the list to have the work done. And guess what they never show back up. I would like to think there's a special place in hell for those scammers that were prey on the vulnerable people.

Tim, great job. The last cut you made when it was on the house. I hate I missed that, I know your camera guy didn’t want to get to close to the edge with those leaves. Did you do a break cut? I saw you cut the compression side and then slide down the tree.

I don't think Tim is concerned about money when comes to his time and gas when dealing with storm damage from a hurricane or natural disasters especially in such a big scale and just Like many others volunteer his time
