I read tarot cards for about 10 years, so I developed a new form of divination for my players to incorporate as random adventure hooks also. I'm glad someone else realized the potential and replayability this has!

You're ahead of me! I've only been reading for seven. It's such a good way to clear your head and clarify thoughts - even better if it can be worked into a game!

Can’t believe you’re talking through Hidden Isle! I actually backed their tarot card game and am looking at backing the TTRPG too! Thanks for covering!

That's great to hear! The tarot deck itself is gorgeous, isn't it? I'm genuinely so hyped about what they're doing.

Def agree the deck itself is beautiful and was one of the reasons I was attracted to Sefirot at first. Think you’ll cover the final version of Hidden Isle on release? Curious what’ll change between play test and final 🤔

@@Void2204 100% - I might actually do a one-shot with it on the channel when it's out.

You have activated my trap-card! I activate "I take your advice and buy it!" Jokes aside, I already use tarot cards in my dnd-campaign sometimes. I have an irl deck that is about 50 years old and I have a reoccuring fortune-teller npc and every fortune is given with the cards irl. If a fortune comes true, it makes the table go crazy xD

As a massive tarot enthusiast, I gotta know more about this 50 year old deck! What edition is it?
@Teraclon
@Teraclon Жыл бұрын
@@TalesArcane Was mistaken. The 50 year old one is my mother's still. The one I received was made 1991, by Thomas Jönsson. It's a swedish (where I come from) edition with a kinda golden back with text saying Tarot. The cards are a bit bigger than an average playing card, maybe 1.5 height. A soft back instruction book came with it.

Thanks for presenting the game (as it shows itself in the playtest). I'll certainly get I game as soon as it gets publically available.

This is awesome, makes me want to implement some sort of tarot system in my campaign I'll be running soon.

The cool thing about this kind of system is parts of it can be ported into 5E quite smoothly - having gone through the playtest materials, I'll definitely be stealing some cool ideas from there to add to my current D&D campaigns.

@@TalesArcane Also I've found your videos in the past few days while I've been sick trying to prep for my campaign, they've been a big help and I really love the 5 step adventure video you put out.

Have you ever thought of taking the Audio from your videos. and making them into short little podcasts for spotify or other podcast apps. i think it would be amazing because you have great audio quality in your videos. Plus its another avenue for you to pull traffic from. just a selfish thought... lol because i would love to have your content in audio form while im at work.

I've never been the first comment on a video before. So there's that. I haven't done it yet, but I have a tarot card deck that I have planned to use on my PCs in the next city. They are about to arrive in that city, so let's see how it goes.

Thanks for the review! :D Do you know of any online tarot card decks we can use for the playtest? I'm not sure what to use because we need to split the decks
