Probably a bug or some recent change because it used to show all damage taken. I remeber seeing 11k damage taken while i had 6k health.

Well, not really, in jungle you kinda need to acquire objectives and do dmg in ganks (a decent ammount not full dmg obviously), you don't get to abuse the sustain that you would do in lane, basically because you don't need it!
