SKX Mod is great, these kits are super for what they achieve. The AI G-Shock is certainly interesting and being an only 1 watch it will probably sell and end up in a private collection. I don't think it has mass appeal.

I bought a kit as a result of this video to mod my own of this new tough solar metal series. I feel that I could have done better as the screws on the back are VERY easy to strip and it's essential to do an AC reset during the modding process, so I believe I ended up stripping the back screws and even possibly losing water resistance as one side is screwed down just slightly more than the other (the crown and pusher side is not screwed down as tight, and I can't change it now.) ANY suggestions to help would be appreciated but what an excellent video and regardless of my own lack of modding skills the process worked and I have received lots of comments on this beauty, which really doesn't need to be modded, but is 11/10 as far as quality goes with the SKXMOD Gen 6 Ultra. I got the black G-shock and the mod kit with rubber band (orange) in hind sight I should have gotten a black rubber strap. Amazing video, I have liked, followed and subscribed as you deserve!

It’s waterproof to 100m or so. However still swim with caution as always.

I have 4 casioak mods and want to get a new silver bracelet royal because mine has a few scratches. I really like the Skxmod gen 6 ultra, but $260 is just too much.

It is but it isn’t when you compare prices between the kit and stainless GMB Versions. For example the GA2100 goes for $99 which is on sale for $69, if you get a kit it’ll be $320 + $20 for quality tools that can be used for other watches. It’s currently discounted at $288, added together youre looking at ~$360 when discounted and $440 when not. You get a stainless steel case, bracelet, lume upgrade, fkm rubber band with pin/buckle and clasp option for the same or less than a GMB2100 which is $360 discounted and $400-600 retail. When compared to other kits sure it’s a bit more but there’s no other like it, so I’d argue you get more for your money than buying the GMB Steel versions.

I personally don't like your interpretation of "AI". It isn't easy to develop a full-metal skeletonized structure to achieve 10m shock resistance, and there has to be a lot of effort put into the development. The term "AI" makes all the efforts sound like a click of a button on a computer screen which is not possible in any real circumstance.

AI writing, and drawing are good enough that the public is taking notice. But 3d modeling? Infancy. The watch must be a result of extensive human design and refinement. AI probably played a small part of the design process, very likely used for drawing inspiration. It’s too bad many people just default to AI=bad. I don’t personally like this specific design. And that’s fine, anyone can have a preference. But to say that the results are bad because the use of AI and AI only is false.
