I'm pretty sure he has a Tarr slime mod installed (one exists) because you normally can't keep Tarrs in corrals so easily.

@@EzekiesAcheron On Nexus mods there is a mod called the "Tarr Rancher". But there is a small problem, to calm down Tarrs and contain them, you need to get something called "slimy formula" or smth like that, and you can get it only using the highest level pump, in a few specific places. And to get plorts from them, you need to make them eat other slimes, literally.

I’ve actually played this game and given my knowledge it infuriates me that he’s not feeding slimes their favorite food to make maximum profit for instance the phosphorus slimes with cuberry’s because then they’ll make double the plorts

You don’t watch df to see him do everything optimally you watch him to have fun. If ur watching and getting annoyed that he’s doing things wrong maybe he’s not the right creator for you. (Plus he’s in the early game so some gold plorts might be a lot for him)

My favorite thing to do in this game is just make a bunch of Honey/Phosphorus largos nicknamed honeybees, and just FILL the cave with them and make every plot in there mint mango trees, its a lot of fun

if you feed a largo one of its favorite foods it gives two of each of its plorts. so if you give your Golden rock largos a Heart Beat you'll get two golden plorts instead of one

Tarr, at least in vanilla, do not produce plorts, only eat slimes. Good at cleaning up the ranch if you can manage them, but not much beyond that. Also the only slime to despawn by moving far enough away from them on the ranch. Also some strange gold largo choices (if i can help it, i make sure none of my largos require meat), not to mention the absolute waste of completely cleaning out a pen for a new largo in the early game when gold plorts would EASILY buy a new corral.

This is giving me classic DF Stardew vibes. And of course DF installed a million and one mods until the game broke. (In unmodded Slime Rancher, you can't vac up the Largos, and instead they stick to the end of your gun. But the mod that allows you to suck up the Largos disables that, but also doesn't know what to do with the modded Largos, leaving you unable to move them.) I also need to install that mod which adds 3 more inventory slots...
