Ah, this is the Ultraman Nexus game! Fighting Evolution is something different. The thing Nexus does before fighting again is generate a Meta Field, a cascading energy that teleports him and the kaiju to another dimension. This allows Nexus to fight without worrying about hurting squishy humans by taking the fight elsewhere. (A unique concept that was never done again to my knowledge) The Meta Field goes down if a monster is strong enough to break through and Dark Mephisto (the evil Ultra) can generate his own to weaken Nexus. Nexus has different forms depending on who his host is and how strong he is, as he is the weakened and devolved form of the god-like Ultraman Noa.

Long story short, Ultraman Nexus has 2 different stories for both of our protagonist (that's why you have to select which character to play after you used Himeya) but they're like the sides while our real focus is on Komon (the man who jumped funnily during the cutscene). Komon's story: Dude just got recruited in this squad called Night Raider where their work is to kill monsters called Space Beast. Long story short, he's struggling in that team with so many ups and downs after that recruitment. I wanna tell more bout him but for the sake of no spoilers, I won't 0:41 Himeya: Before he was chosen as a 2nd deunamist (deunamist is a term for a person who was chosen as Nexus and before himeya, there's the first one but his form's diff and he's not on the series), he worked as a photographer during civil war. One day, he was heavily wounded and got helped by a girl named Sera. After that, they're happily together as a brother-sister kinda relationship until one day, Sera died when war happened which made him super depressed until he got no reasons to live anymore. He's the edgiest guy in the series but at the same time, I feel kinda bad. Bro's been going through alat. 6:47 Ren: This kid's my fav character. Bro's super special because he's not like any other human, he was made under a project called "Prometheus Project" where they're like super intelligent and could communicate with each other telepathically. So, during night, he planned with his friend (yeah, he got a friend and his friend's an operator for the Night Raiders) that he wanted to go out from the hostel that he lived to see the sea. When his ass has been busted, he was thrown out. Then, he worked with his other friend at a theme park. He's a happy and cheerful guy until Noa chose him as the 3rd deunamist. Oh yea, I almost forgot, those of the "son kf the Prometheus" (that's what they called) who was born, they have like a side effect which is they only lived until 17-18 years due to their DNA modification but this could be prevented by taking a cure called Raphael. Luckily, after his final fight as a deunamist, he finally healed and survived. I could say that there are a lot of complications for every characters and I would recommend this series for those who wanted to see the edgiest ultraman series ever (and Seven X but this one has more actions). P.s, I don't wanna takk bout the 4th deunamist...

Ultramen don't wear suits, they're literally naked aliens. They DO have armor that they wear on top of their bodies, though. (Their bodies as in the thing newbies tend to mistake as suits). Beneath their suit-like skin, they have bones and organs, but they're mostly made of light. Yes, even skulls the shape of their mask-like faces. They can bleed light if they get punctured, they can get their bones broken, they can also be dismembered, and yes, those all happened to various Ultramen throughout the series. There's a small running joke in the fandom that lightly make fun of people who mistake Ultramen as wearing suits, but it's all in good fun. The Ultraman fandom is one of the best you can ever join because everyone is just so friendly. As for how a human becomes Ultraman... Ultramen merge with humans, usually those who have died from heroic sacrifice, in order to resurrect them and give them the ability to transform into the Ultraman that merged with them. The human and the Ultraman are two separate beings, but there are cases where the Ultraman takes on a human disguise instead. The series has a multiverse similar to Marvel, so there are multiple continuities with their own lore and stories. The main universe is called the M78 Universe, which started with Ultra Q all the way back in 1966. If you know Gundam, you can think of each Ultra universe as something similar to the different eras. For the case of this game (which isn't Fighting Evolution 3, the game people are asking you to play), it's a tie-in to the season called Ultraman Nexus, which is set in its own universe and is not part of the main M78 Universe. Crossovers between the different universes are very common, though.

Ultraman are a race of aliens who normally try not to interfere with other planets conflict but some exceptions can be made. Most ultra's are from nebula M78 but some have different origins for example Ginga is from the far future or a different future (idk haven't seen it in awhile dont hate me) X and Victory's origins are complicated and there are also ultraman like gaia and agul born from the earth and other ultraman from different plants like leo L77 and Titas from U40. Look i can go on and on about the lore but to put simply the sun exploded and the people on m78 made an new sun but it gave them super powers. In short Ultraman isn't a suit but the actual body Ultraman are a race of alien from a far away nebula with their own planet having billions of people They are extremely nice and have a high sense of justice in general because of that there are many Ultraman that travel through out the universe and protect many race Some of them travel to Earth where they usually lend their power to a human fusing with them or they just disguise themselves as a human The one in the game though is an extremely special case being born naturally separated from the race and at his peak he is basically a god with power to destroy the universe, his true form is call Noa but usually he appear as Nexus which is his power saving mode

This game name is "Ultraman Nexus" base on an actual show And from the looks of this the game you currently playing is still on easy difficulty, if you want to change i advise to use google translate or someone that actually know Japanese language Ok so when you're in your human form, you can attack it and when the kaiju is launching it's attack you can block it just try any button. As for the controls for this game, just treat it like tekken or street fight game (yes theres actual combos) As for Ultraman lore.... Human mode gameplay is the easiest one, the camera follows what you see at the front, just like RE4. Also, this move 5:40 is actually a Counter button. So, when the big monster start blasting you, just press that Counter button, it's pretty easy to Counter the blast, no need perfect timing.

The game you're playing is Ultraman Nexus (2005) it's based on the real life show called Ultraman Nexus (2004), wow real creative? Haha. In short: this show is pretty dark and takes itself very seriously compared to other Ultraman show. I'd recommend watching the show if you're interested. Now as for Ultraman Nexus itself, he's basically a god. Most of the appearance he's in his devolved form. His true form is Ultraman Noa. as i said before, he's basically a god. He's also supposedly the oldest Ultraman ever, he's around 350k years old. Fun fact: Ultraman Nexus (the show) was part of the Ultra N Project. It started in 2004. The project was aim to revitalize the Ultraman Franchise. Unfortunately the whole project failed and so Tsuburaya (the company who's responsible in creating Ultraman show) cancelled it and we left with 1 movie and 1 show.

You should try Ultraman (2004) on the PS2 it's basically like the original show it's based on Ultraman (1966) but you're controlling Ultraman. Note: it's not exactly like the show, there are a few changes here and there but it's pretty close to the show. There's also another Ultraman game called Ultraman Fighting Evolution. It's a series of Ultraman fighting games and many considered the 3rd entry to be the best in the series and maybe the best Ultraman game ever! Also since these games are in Japanese and never had an English release. It's best if you use google translate or ask a friend that knows Japanese or maybe try to find a version with English translation on the internet? So that way you'll understand what you're doing 😂 I remember playing these Ultraman games with my uncle on the PS2, we had alot of fun battling each other. Great times 🙂

Ultraman nexus spends (God knows how long) fighting off space beasts throughout the universe(in his noa form) this catches the attention of an alien race called "The Visitors"( don't ask me why they're called that,the show is only 36 episodes long with a prequel movie called ultraman the next) which they heared from ancient records and legends from their own galaxy (M80) that documented his existence and battles against many powerful space beasts,and they ended up creating a clone of ultraman noa that ended up being ultinoid zagi(the main villain of the story)that WAS a biological weapon created to combat the space beasts,after his creation he developed a twisted consciousness that ended up out of control and turned against his creators, becoming,dark zagi.

No you didn't grow big some ultra can change there size but but nexus can't and before you ask if it can go small and go in places and grow big to kill his opponents ultraman taro has done that one in his life eat your heart out antman and for what nexus it doing A dimensional subspace made of the same substances as Nexus' body. It empowers light beings such as Nexus himself while reducing the power of darkness. Its main use is to avoid collateral damage during his battles and to contain the enemy into a confined space, but frequent usage of it can induce a huge strain to its user. It cannot be easily entered from the outside without special equipment or similar powers.
