18:00 This may be the first time I've seen a softlock actually used in a creative manner. Getting CP1 before activating the bomb is a troll that kills you. Activate the bomb, then CP1 is safe. A 'safety spike' would have actually ruined the troll and made it not one. As mentioned, since there's no real progress past CP1, it's not a truly punishing reset. Very interesting and creative. I hate when streamers throw for “content” it’s boring and cringe. When he got the world record on that kaizo level he one shot it no problem but on easy levels he keeps dying in noob ways. So annoying

Sometimes I feel that way also but if you play games long enough, you get very good at the hard tricks and then the little most basic jumps become difficult. Either because you do them on autopilot or you are just trying to optimize every frame in real time and miss an input

Also, it's alright to want escapism on the internet. Various pressures of day to day life can wear on our mentality and as such it's in everyone's best interest to give it a rest every now and then.
