The speed at which they improved the game has been pretty amazing. Honestly my only real complaint right now is there are not enough bosses. Hopefully that will get addressed soon.

@retromation a tip for you at the 12 minute mark. when you get full on vestiges and have the option to pick a new one while having the ability in the next area option to destroy for 2x sets. always open the area first then pick your vestiges so they dont disappear and you can still break them down.

Game develops into a nice direction. I really hope they make goal tracking more easy, overhaul the UI a bit and add more stuff, especially stories and bosses. But so far, a game I come back to with joy every once in a while to discover new stuff.

You can still "back track" if you just leave the Tarnished Vault(s) unopened.

I haven't notice much difference in run length or quantity of encounters between quick and deep runs. Deep run seems to have 1 extra fight before the final boss is l I've seen

The time difference is largely from added difficulty which may mean you spend more time considering options

Picked this up this week. I loved Monster Train and I think this game is good but not great. Thus far I’ve completed 4 runs and just destroyed everything in my path. There seems to be very little challenge at the moment. Hopefully, this increases with the challenge ranks but so far I’m a little concerned.

You've gotten lucky. This is a game with *wild* RNG swings. With good luck, you'll have utterly broken builds, and demolish everything in your path... And with bad luck, you might not make it out of the first area. I picked it up earlier this week, and I've absolutely had runs that felt impossible... But, I've also had some challenging, but doable runs. And then of course the runs that just demolish everything.

I know it wasn't a big deal, but they majorly effed themselves when they released a game in Early Access with micro-transactions for a somewhat hefty price (for an indie game). First impressions are important and this game is "burned" for a lot of players. Personally I might take a look at it now.

I am very very surprised you did the absurd unlock quest for this class, did the dev just grant you access to it? It is so long and boring and poorly explained...

Nah I did it, took me maybe 30min of off camera stuff? I guess I didn't find it too tough to understand.

Wow, nice work. I did a run to find the spear, a run to find the chronicler, and 4 runs looking for 4 piece mythos set, rerolling shops. Still haven't found it and I am about 8 hours into it so far.@@Retromation

Using the 2x set bonus item muncher means you only need to find 2 mythos which is nice.

This a good game, but never feels like a "great" game. Lacks variety and stuff to tweak and mess around with during a run.
