I understand the game can be seen as a kids game, even though its made for 13+ and kids still play it. But that isn't the point of this comment. The point is that there is nothing wrong with kids knowing about pride, the only thing that is bad about it in this update is the kids screaming. However there is nothing wrong with kids just simply knowing about pride. Along with that it teaches kids to respect ppl in the LGBTQ community(Ik some kids aren't and are just being annoying but still). Also, kids know about men and women falling in love so whats so different about men and men falling in love, or women and women falling in love that you don't want the youth knowing? (also I agree it IS a little over the top, but it's not too big of a deal.)

regarding the pride update I am not homophobic, in fact I have a gay best friend, but they do have children who play. Not to mention it is political, whether people want to believe it or not gay acceptance or being homophobic is political. They should have stayed neutral, they should not have introduced this to a younger audience. It could lead young children feeling like they Need to be gay, and I am against making people feel opressed. it is political, there are children. While yes it is a 13+ game we all know there all little children. And yes children can also feel the need to follow the new "trend". I have experienced this first hand. I knew a little boy who became trans because they were exposed to pride at the age of 6. I do feel like the kids can make their decision when they want to and I will be fine with that. But if a game they love seem to be "pushing" it on them, they will most likely become apart of the lgbtq without really knowing about it. While this is a great update for lgbtq, and I respect that, a lot of kids with have a warped mind because their favorite game is promoting it. let's be real, we all have bias, I'm sure a lot of you people apart of lgbtq do not see how it does not affect kids, and how straight people don't see kids just learning from it. But in reality, both do happen, yes kids can be curious about pride and learn about it, and make the decision when they're sure they are. Also straight people have seen a lot of kids become gay because of this, and this is where the bias comes from. Either way, I will stand that this update was great for lgbtq, but terrible for little boys and girls. But then again, no one wants this except for lgbtq+ it's not a wise decision, as I mentioned in the gtag server is would remove a lot of religious people who don't directly attack lgbtq but just can't support it. And this would be putting it into political spectrum. Which would be lame, people hate politics. But also, the lgbtq+ people aren't a wide margin, I believe a better idea would to give out a role of lgbtq people and give them that flag and a cosmetic. A whole update would create controversy, this way religous people can see that people are pride, and move on, instead of them having to quit the game entirely. This way everyone would be happy. And in fact, the children I mentioned earlier could learn what pride is from the cosmetics people can get from the roles! this would be a much better idea than a full fledged update! Edit: not to mention, why is it now they start being political? If they are going to celebrate pride month, why not black history month, or mexican heritage month? It's because it is very political, they had no reason to do this other than to try to be more inclusive, but instead brought a lot more homophobia to the game and put the game on the political spectrum.

Although i respect this as your opinion, i can still see some flaws in this situation. This update has been a long time coming (and heavily requested,) theres no denying it. I personally support it, but Another Axiom was going to get hate for adding it or not. (Also, the reason men's mental health doesnt have its own update is because literally no-one requested it). Im just going to combat the shoving pride into childrens faces with; The kids in this game already know too much for their age, pride is pretty light for the kids ive seen ingame (and also Gorilla tag is 13+) I havent seen this in the US yet, but i have had specific classes in my college teaching us about diversity and about various religions, races and LGBTQ in general. These arent given to kids enough. and from studies on this kind of stuff, people who dont learn about LGBT at a young age end up becoming homophobic more often, and that just brings more hate to this world. But, opinions are opinions and nobody is right in any situation. Also, i have not seen anyone complaining about mens mental health month being overshadowed by pride moth at all until this year.
