i find it very odd when creators say that "this update is lame" or "this update is...okay" when in this update we're getting the following PERMANENT content: • new archon quest interlude • all 3 acts of the Tlalocan tribal chronicles • 2 acts of the Mictlan tribal chronicles • new world quests (with massive new lore) • and not 1, not 2, but 3 new areas to explore, which include 2 new saurians with unique gameplay genshin is an open-world game like the whole point is to explore the map and uncover lore? so when a new update is adding onto what the epitome of an open-world game is and it's "just ok" i'm like huh? also to add on to people calling an update a "filler" patch, it's like they don't even know what filler means anymore, they just throw that term out there for whatever now. This update is anything but a filler patch. A filler patch would be what version 4.5 was. Dry content, no new area, no new archon quest, barebones events. What version 5.2 is bringing isn't even close to that. You're entitled to your opinion of course but it's like saying "this episode was ok i guess" when your favorite shonen anime drops a new episode with an extremely hype fight that exceeded expectations and also massive character building. Like that's what the epitome of shonen anime is and genshin is adding new content relating to what an open-world game is about: exploring the world.

The curse of being a multifaceted game with so many angles of appeal is that many players won't find all of those angles appealing, and a good number will find few of them appealing. Those calling it filler are just these folks who simultaneously can't understand the appeal of all of Genshin's angles and how those angles are meaningful to others. I will at least say that the trailer for this update doesn't sell it too well, which tends to be the case when there are few prerendered cinematics to cut footage together with. World Quests and Tribal Chronicles aren't as flashy and are therefore harder to showcase.

I feel you missed the point of Ororon and his role in a party (especially his place as a bow user, which you won't really feel in battle most of the time). Elemental Skills and Bursts always (with a few exceptions) deal damage of their Vision/Gnosis type. Also he's clearly meant for off-field combat, and his taunting ability seems useful. Combined with the fact that Electro-charged (and other reactions) are getting a buff makes me excited to try and use him alongside my dormant Ayato! (And Neuvillette if it works, but I otherwise have his current premium team after getting Xilonen last banner) Solid niche character overall in Ororon and Chasca seems amazing (even though I can't get her now as I'd rather get supports), plus I'm excited to explore all those new areas and get more world-building from all the newly available quests. This can't really be called filler especially if this is warming up to an Act V in 5.3!

I can only compare him to the likes of Cheveruse, Faruzan ngl. I guess those are pure supports but in a sense that how those characters are staple in their respective archetype, He is going to become staple in Electro-Charged.

This update is going to be a treat for lore deep divers. Can’t wait. I wanted to wish for Chasca since I really liked her in the archon quest but I’m not sure about her riding a gun lol. I will have to try her out and see if the gameplay is fun.

@HarshitSinghRajput honestly all the updates in natlan so far were great, but I like 5.2 the most so far: the new saurians seam really interesting, the new area, the dragon, puzzles and can't forget about capitano 👑 But I can't wait for 5.3, 4.2 was in my opinion the best update so far and I think 5.3 could potentially beat it

You didn't play the world quests thats why you dont get it If it was just the new map and interlude i would say that was ok but theres the world quest in OchkaNatlan

That makes sense but that means everyone who hasn't done the world quest is going to be confused by this then. This brings up a point of maybe the world quests should be on the same level of story quests in the sense of voice acting and maybe even a tab in the game to show world quests and what they are about.

@@K1ngBard actually the worldquests appear with giant exclamations on the map and there is a tab in the quest menu with the level of importance just below the main quest If you thought that act 4 of Natlan revealed a lot you will be impressed by what the world quests revealed Just to give you an idea of ​​how much these quests reveal, just going to give simple summaries without explanation and no depth Sumeru: Deshret's final plan, Rukkhadevata and the abyss, creating a new race + previous Hydro archon Fontaine: the world works in cycles, how a Descender is created Natlan: age of dragons, unification of races at least you did Enkanomiya but you never went into much depth

@ yeah people don’t generally like being forced to do WQ because not everyone likes them, but I think the way they’ve done it with Chenyu and Natlan where you’re forced to do a brief intro and then let free to progress as you’d like is a good compromise.

Also, He is a very good character, Aside from DPS bow characters, Supports/Sub DPS rarely need to perform Aimed shots to gain anything. Ororon works off field, Doesn't want to AIM shot like ever. He isn't an replacement for Fishcl because Fischl is good in Dendro teams while Ororon is good in Hydro teams. And this is a good thing because Powercreep is VERY BAD, just look at star rail, Old Character become irrelevant pretty quickly where in Genshin even HuTao is still pretty relevant. So not replacement for Fischl= no Powercreep = Good at the same time he is going to become staple for electro charged teams like Cheveruse is for Overload teams. And btw (Shatter, Overload, Electro-Charged and Superconduct) will get significant buff from 5.2 so yeah He is grt. Like you can use Cyno, Ororon, Xingqui, Flex (Baizhu, Sucrose, Kiarara etc.) Like I am actually not kidding, You can use theorycrafting for numbers and he is actually GOATED in terms of Numbers.

Really speedruning that first minute of dialogue. Personally I think Ororon is a solid 8/10 even if he is a 4 for Mihoyo. Navia has nothing on Chasca. There is no character that is more American. Ororon’s tribe place looks really cool. Fischl is a aggravate unit. Ororon is an electro-charge support. So Nope. No replacement. Yes It does electro dmg. They just never show numbers in livestrem. I'm hoping to get him and save my guarantee for Nuvi.

Lore wise this patch seems so good because well we are going to the Enka/Old Mond/ Remuria/ King Deshret civilization equivalent (in a way) of Natlan. And we are going to one of my fav tribes aka Masters of the Night wind who are close to the seelies and seem to have spirits just roaming around Ororon should have been a 5 star cuz he’s the hero and it’s weird if he’s the only one who isn’t but at least he’s off field cuz I think our last one was Beizhu. He’s actually pretty good and in a completely different team from Fischl (he basically wants at least one electro and hydro character). Man is niche but they also announced that they buffed his exact niche in 5.2 Edit: why does our new pet sorta look like Venti in 18:57? I was watching a lore video and they pointed this out. Like it’s even Anemo colored

Nothing really blew me away really, the best part of this update are the new areas, especially the one that looks like an above ground Enkanomiya. The update all around is a good one but definitely not the best. Chasca surprised me though! She looks like she is going to be super fun to use and I think I might pull for her, but at the same time I am thinking about Zhongli 🤔

The only major things we can get are Archon Quests (we're getting an Interlude), Character Quests (Chasca), new locations (three of them), major World Quests (one of them), and Events. It's almost as dense as an update can get.

KB bro if this is an "okay" only update I don't know what a good or great update to u is like I know u don't care about the world quests and the deep dank lore contained within those which I have previously once commented too when U where doing Fontaine stuff that World quests are equally if not more important in order to understand the lore more than the Archon quests themselves actually.... and they super fun to go through as well recently, the devs have made huge progress to making the World quests as fun as possible. Now all that said I absolutely respect ur opinion but opinions can be wrong sometime too u know.... the major part of the community that actually enjoys the game for it's story and exploration are super happy with the update infact we all thought we wouldn't be getting any Archon quest at all this patch but ended up getting an Interlude with more lore on our little buddy and OckaNatlan / Cinder City from the artifact set with two new tribes.

I imagine not many characters will be voiced again since there's still the issue with the strike and the recording studio, I imagine if Genshin is trying to separate themselves from their recording studio to use the same that voices for Star Rail, because at least that one didn't lose it's EN dubs Ah I hate gen AI so much While I don't really bother with Chasca as a character, her gameplay seems funny, and not depending on Saurian possession to traverse is usually better I wonder if they'll develop the plot on this archon quest or if it's more like setting the scene for the final act Because acts 1 through 4 were all basically only on the first three tribes, it seems likely that we won't even see the collective of plenty tribe before the Natlan arc concludes 13:03 "the first two acts" imply that Ororon won't be the focus on this one They did my boy quite dirty, despite being one of the six heroes he a 4* and won't even get his own tribal chronicle I was hoping Ororon would be a overload support for my Lyney team I'm really looking forward to Ochkanatlan, you should do the little Saurian quest so you can understand why this region is important The events look fun, but I'm mostly really just looking forward to Ororon I'm so glad he'll be first half so I don't have to hold back on pulls, if I get either Chasca or Lyney cons I'm ok, but I really really hope I get Ororon The archon quest is ok, I'm sad it still won't be fully voiced probably, though I'd feel bad changing voice packs... I'd feel like I'm replacing the EN VAs just because they stopped being useful and I won't have that In any case, it seems like it'll be a more chill patch, I honestly though the reason they'd take a break on 5.2 was because of lantern rite... I totally get the disappointment with Ororon's weapon type. Personally, he should have been a catalyst user. Being deeply tied to spiritual energy like Citlali, it would have made more sense. However, I am happy with his kit/skills. Electro-charged has finally been noticed by the Devs, and we're getting a Chev-like for that reaction.

@6:02- lol, you're thinking of Citlali, she's the cryo user. Sadly I will be skipping Chasca (and Ororon). Both are great chars for sure, but I honestly don't need either of them atm. Since Ororon is mostly useful in Electro-Charge teams, he wouldn't work in the Overload team I want to build for Snezhnaya. Chasca will probably be one of those chars I'll get eventually because she looks dope (this might be another Navia situation). But I'd rather save up for Mavuika since she IS Pyro. More than likely she'll be coming in 5.3, so I am waiting for the drip marketing to confirm that. I can never remember when drip marketing is shown. *Looks it up* Okay always right before the next patch, another week at least. I will skip the 2nd banner too. Zhongli is the best shielder in the game (and I do like him), but I don't need him yet. And I already have Neuvillette at C1, so I don't plan to roll for him in the foreseeable future. C1 prevents interruption basically when he's using his power water pump lol. I feel for you when it comes to Ororon. There are chars I absolutely LOVE personality wise, but I'll never get them due to their playstyle. Perfect example is Xiao, I LOVE him, he's one of my fav chars, but I hate his playstyle, it's too much stress inducing. I love new exploration and yeah that one area with the new boss (and FISHING), it's looking like our 'extra area' for Natlan, like it might get it's own map similar to the Chasm, Enonkonomya (sp?), and Remuria. But you never know since Dragonspine and multiple areas in Sumeru desert don't have that.

Yeah some good things in this update with a lot of new mechanics.. Though I really wished they would allow you to lock a preferred weapon to a character so you don't have to remember to swap them if you change a team - like they do in Reverse 1999. EDIT - and there's a speeded up version of TCG. Might have to give it another go!

@@HarshitSinghRajputNot necessarily, getting a specific 4 star can cost you more, there is no guarantee and you can do many pulls and still not get them. Ruin your pity and end up with a 5 star you don’t want.

@@Keiki-kun Filler is when they have to make up literally unimportant story where characters don't grow and no plot progresses, in anime's case to allow the manga to generate more material. Genshin doesn't have filler because everything that happens does progress characters and/or plot.
