As a Charizard EX player, the Lilligant version is a 100% win for me, this one would be more of a nuisance

Exactly! This one starting pumping damage much more quickly to deal with decks that need time to setup! I'd say it's still a heavily disadvantaged matchup, but it can be won with a little luck on the Exeggutor side or bad luck on the opponents moltres flips!

When I get my flips, I knock out the Moltres Ex fast enough to get to the squishy Charmander before he can get fully evolved. Or if I have a Sabrina…it’s over. That being said. When I don’t win my flips the charizard just wipes my deck out. But it’s all fun.

Found your channel not too long ago with the release of this game but already love the content. I either copy the decklist and have fun with it myself or have the video play in the background to fall asleep, but either way it's great! Keep it up!

I originally looked at the Venusaur line with disgust at how they did my boy dirty. But this vid sheds new light on the possibilities. Grats on the 6-0 streak, shoutout to the 5th opponent for the freebie.

Yes! I was the same way. I was disappointed with venasaur until I tried this deck! It can hold it's own against almost everything out there right now!

I’ve been playing this deck for about a week now, the only difference is I’m running on eggman ex and two non ex eggmans, being able to pivot between two Eggmans if Vena is being slow to show up, gives you loads of time to stall and survive whilst still dealing decent damage.

This has been my deck since i got the game one day 1. Pulled the exect cards in the first few days and having a blast. Once you have your stage 2 online you seems to be able to win from any position. I dont see many fire decks wich has been helpful.

Yes and the fire decks I typically see are the slow setup ones so I still typically at least have a chance to win it!

This deck always feel like you're playing from behind. But it very often pulls out wins. Its been very fun

Yes! You are playing to stall for most of the game, but once you get your venasaur built it's almost impossible to lose

Man, I really want Exeggutor EX. So many great grass decks with him… I‘m currently mostly playing with a deck only with Caterpie and Venusaur. It is really dependent on Venusaur (as Caterpie can‘t do anything), but you can get Venusaur pretty quick and I have a pretty good win rate with it.

I made for fun, venusaur butterfree. Pretty fun when you can build up. This one with exeggutor is better. But the fun and no coin flip, makes me play more with butterfree.

have you thought about cutting the 2 ex exeggutor and only run 2 normal exeggutor to allow for better point trades?

I think exegg is too important to have early for me to cut one, but I have been playing with the idea of 2 normal exeggs and one ex version!

Hello! Nice video! How do you deal vs Sabrina? I always strugle vs her…. Also, why not use potions? A small potion can mean you stall another turn. Thanks

I would probably run a potion instead of the 3rd Exeggcutor, but TLSG did increase his odds of evolving Exeggcute in time, so it's a cost-benefit comparison you'll have to run.

Typically we are tanky enough not to need a potion since we have the big healing from Erika. Erika took the spot if our potion and the other cards would be really tough to cut because of how useful they are!

You can do two regular exeggs for sure! Lilligant you can add in, but each turn it's out your not pressuring damage with exegg. Since it takes two energy on to her and then 2 turns to make up the lost energy on venasaur it's a 4 turn combo anyways where you could just directly stack the energy onto bulbasaur instead and have him online as fast or a turn or two faster!

I ran my venasaur with Butterfree. Heals like crazy but it's slow as shit. The Caterpie helps with pulling the cards you need to evolve and defend mid game. But it just takes to long to get rolling. And the sea of Charizard users is immense.

I never thought about holding on to a Professor's Research. Is that to reduce the chance you'll get Red Carded?

It is! I especially hold on to them if I have an evolution form that I want to keep! And worst case scenario, if you get hit with red card you'll still have 2 draw cards in your deck to potentially pull!

the main reason this is viable, is because of Erika that's it. Same as with the water decks where it's Mistys luck that can KO you turn1.

Erika's healing helps a lot to sustain until venasaur is online. I wouldn't compare it to misty though. Misty is a instant win of you hit heads a few times almost, vs Erika is just a staller until you get your venasaur built
