I like people on both sides of the "feud". I dont make my choice about who I believe was wrong, based simply on who they are related to. Nobody should do that. Ginger even wrote in her book that it was the Southbrooke theater and there was no way that the White Haven theater should have showed that movie on the night the Smiths claim they were all there. I agree with you that Stallings had no problem with the crime in Memphis when he was selling tickets for his Elvis Week events but most comments were that Memphis was indeed dangerous. Joey Smith is responsible for this mess which started shortly after the Dojo opened. He became manager and fired his brother Danny who took the high road and only said the Dojo was too far from his house and he wouldn't be going there anymore. It made no sense that Billy and Jo left Danny's channel when Danny wasn't in the wrong but maybe Billy and Jo feel they need to protect their bratty, youngest son. People tend to forget how Billy threw Elvis under the bus after he died with the other MM members and that Vernon threw Billy and Jo out of Graceland and wouldn't even let them take the trailer Elvis bought for them or that Priscilla did nothing to help Billy after he got fired from Graceland. Priscilla and Lisa have avoided the Smiths since the 80s but have a warm relationship with Billy's cousin Patsy Presley. I'm not Priscilla's biggest fan but she and Lisa are not unkind people and they have their reasons for staying away from Billy and Jo. It was Jo who went off on Priscilla accusing her of being the one who kept them away from the movie premiere and accusing Priscilla of thinking the Smiths are a bunch of hillbillies which Priscilla has never said. There's a great deal of jealously there and Spa Guy has exposed the dysfunction that was already going on in the Smith family. If he hadn't brought the Smiths into the inner circle of the Dojo and especially Joey, there would be no problems today other than what the Smiths are dealing with in their own family.

I like the Spa Guy and Trey, their videos are brilliant. I came to Memphis, specifically to Graceland, because of Spa Guy, I also visited Vernon's House, walked to Marlowe's and ate there, all these places being familiar to me BECAUSE of the Spa Guy. I did have the impression Memphis was not a great area when I visited and this surprised me, but we create our communities and there are many many areas in the world that are just as bad and have declined. I was stopped by 3 officers and they gave me a real hard time because I had my brights on in the cemetery! They told me the crime rate was off the chart then. I dropped a name of a guy who works there and they let me go immediately. But it was sketchy. The body stealing thing was told in detail by Dick Grob and others. I think maybe it was because they wanted Elvis out of there. And that also encouraged the council to allow Vernon to make Graceland a cemetery. Who knows?

It took nine guys, struggling under the weight of 900 lb. copper casket plus Elvis' weight to carry it into the mausoleum but three guys could allegedly walk off with it and then arrange a ransom with Vernon. Dick Grob has been proven to be a liar on many of his stories and I believe that Vernon just wanted his son and wife to be buried at Graceland because he was in failing health and the trips to the cemetery were too much for him.

Just found your video as it popped up in my suggestions - I agree with you - as far as the movie theater - really what does it matter where it was - Billy Smith may remember it as somewhere else - he has lots of memories stored in his brain thru the years - so some may not be as clear as others - where it was or when it was is not as important as that it was a moment that they shared. Yes getting facts and pictures matched up is fun but to make it such a big deal to have to prove you are right and attack some one else who disagrees is childish - now if the theater was going to put up a major plague up and make it a tourist attraction and sell tickets it might matter but it is just one night in time -- Then getting your feelings hurt in a business disagreement and trying to ruin others business and use fear to scare people from others who do Elvis business and to possibly getting them to pay you more to show them around or attend yours out of fear - there are scriptures about the punishment for those actions - I use to watch and enjoy his videos but once he started showing his true personality against businesses that were only trying to follow the guidelines and laws and also protect their employees, customers and business during early days of covid - then parking in places that he knew better during the candlelight that year and getting an attitude with the guard lady who told him he had to move. Threatening to report her to Graceland - for doing her job --- I have met her during Elvis Week and why should she put her job in jeopardy because a bully found a loop hole and tried to go where he shouldn't. Those things caused me to stop watching him = then I heard and saw part of the other situations and decided I have made the right situation. @@zucan100 I agree with you. I looked at the ticket prices for the Elvis Week events and I don't see how that place can keep the lights on and turn a profit for everyone. No one would know the place existed without all the videos that Stallings did. He even did one showing people exactly how to get there. Now they have very limited hours and no real events planned. I know things slow down after Elvis Week but not to a crawl. I think the Tennessee Karate Institute is a far more interesting place. Elvis chose to buy into it and filmed his movie there so there is that option for the fans if they want to see Elvis memories in a karate setting.

Sure it was spa guy's idea but it was Patrick who put up $500,000 not spa guy. Patrick said it would be a great idea to have somewhere to show the ambulance so he put up all the money for the building and furnishings and spa guy did the physical labor. Now spa guy says Patrick wants to hurt the ambulance. That doesn't make sense since the ambulance is the only reason Patrick got involved and put up the money. That's what spa guy and Patrick said a year ago in the first video they made about it. I wouldn't trust spa guy as far as I could throw him. From Ireland. I went to Memphis solo in 2017, I went everywhere on foot, I stayed in the Sheraton hotel downtown it’s beside the pyramid structure. I walked from the hotel to sun studio and back again, twice. I walked all around downtown Memphis side streets, I had a few guys ask me for money and I gave a couple of dollars. I got a taxi to Graceland and overcharged by the taxi driver. I did not feel unsafe. I walked to the martin Luther king hotel assassination location, also to some backstreet fried chicken place

I have enjoyed Spa Guys videos , but gave had a couple run ins with him when commenting . Seems he thinks his word is the only word . I pointed out a super 8 film recorded on August 16th 1977 that is very grainy, but if you know what you are looking at according to to word and every book I ever read by those who were actually there that day , the film shows the ambulance with its back door open, a car looks to be a Benz which wad what Dr Nick drove turning into Graceland and driving up the drive at a high rate of speed for that driveway anyways. At the same time you can make out the Gurnee being lifted up into the back of the ambulance just as the car pulls up to the ambulance and the driver of the car gets into the back of the ambulance just as they close the door and drive off. This is exactly how by all accounts what happened , that wad Dr Nick jumping into the ambulance BTW. Spa Guy smdusagreed with me and seemed condescending in his reply how he's done the research, is aware of the video, it proves nothing and basically he knows better than all those who were there . Here I just thought it was cool there's a video corroborating the historical statements of that day and his high mightyness knows better lol . He does very good thorough videos and I credited him with that and he's just like yeah whatever . I hear this about his attitude by others as well.

I don't think you are giving Spa Guy enough credit. He does research and can prove everything he does videos on. His information does not go by 2 older people that try to remember and do get things mixed up. And also, he's not the one that started any of this mess. His so called partner locked him out of his own business. One of the smith clan shoved Trey and broke his camera. And the police don't do their job because of Joey being on the force. There were other comments on Facebook that started the mess. It sounds to me from a lot of things I've read elsewhere, Memphis is a dangerous place. Keep in mind, I'm going there in late Sept. And if I get mugged then I'll know. I just say everybody needs to stay out of this whole mess and not really bad mouth anybody. I will not be going to the DoJo because of Patrick and Joey. I don't think spa guy comments about not going to Memphis will result in Graceland closing or being boarded up as you mentioned. Regardless if the spa guy sharing what happened was the right thing to do or not, but a person can take so much of harassment and being wronged. This all started because Billy Smith was saying Spa guy was wrong about where the movie happened. So Spa guy was defending his credibility. Why the Smiths want to make up stuff they don't remember? I’ve been to Memphis on several occassions and have been very scared. My mind was pretty much made up when I saw a video done by another youtuber. I've listened for years Billy and Trey down talking Graceland and the Presleys etc etc and then low and behold, it shows Trey practically begging Priscilla for attention, thanking her for all that she does for Elvis fans and I thought wow, what a complete turnaround... It's hard to watch a grown man throwing a temper tantrum. Me and my brother went there to have a really good time Memphis that is we found out what was going on we had been watching both sides of story since it started my brother went back to the hotel and was really feeling bad about the whole situation between the spa guy and Patrick over the tiger man dojo me and my brother first of all are Christians but my brother had the spa guy on Facebook sent him a letter for him to call he wanted to talk to him about how he was handling this situation in a Christian manner the spa guy sent him a pretty direct comet basically telling him he didn't know what he was talking about or something like that and deleted my brother off of his Facebook page so that he could not no longer put a message on there that's how the spa guy is you're not allowed to question his motives and my brother actually like the spa guy at first more than I did but that's how he treats his friends that want to ask him a question he will delete you

I guess the "elephant" in the room is.... why after the many videos over the past few years that Spa Guy has done in the Memphis/ Whitehaven area, plus the recent Elvis week movie night that Spa Guy promoted and encouraged Elvis fans to visit which was also located in the Memphis/ Whitehaven area, plus the various bus tours that the Spa Guy has promoted and encouraged Elvis fans to visit in the Memphis/ Whitehaven area, plus his 50% partnership in the Dojo which is located in the Memphis/ Whitehaven area.... why would he have done all of these things only to then create and post a 17 minute video after Elvis week to "Avoid Whitehaven Memphis / Too Dangerous"? Am not saying that there are parts of Memphis not dangerous, am just saying why would he have done the video after the fact? Also, while it's true Spa Guy is 50% partner in the Dojo, it appears that it was Patrick that purchased the brick and mortar building; I don't believe I have ever seen a video of Spa Guy saying that he "bought" the building with his own money... he says the Dojo was his idea, he organized it, got it set up, etc..etc.. which may be true but I don't believe he ever says he "bought" the building with his own money. So, the opinions and comments that Spa Guy purchased the building may be incorrect. Also, I am not sure why anyone would be able to come to a conclusion from the Spa Guy - Dojo incident video when.... only a portion of the video is shown from the angle of Spa Guy and Trey; remember that it appears others also had their camera phones running and so none of us really knows the whole story or the pieces of the puzzle, especially as the video doesn't show the beginnings of what happened or how it all started. It could be that an entire video showing the total sequence of events was shown to the police when they showed up, and the police concluded that there was no evidence that anyone assaulted anyone; we really just don't know because we don't have all of the facts. Many of us may be convinced that we know what happened based on a partial video and therefore pick a side to support, but in reality we can't know what happened if we weren't there.

I agree with you however I would add the following: 1. Spa Guy did a video with Patrick explaining how SG came across the building, he consulted with the owners, SG had the concept in his mind, it's not Patricks dream.. 2. Patrick is a fan, I've seen him in FB groups, Patrick also attended that Graceland event as a fan so I believe he has an interest in Elvis. 3. Patrick admitted that SG did the work in a video to build the concept of the dojo, Patrick helped SG bring SG's vision to reality in a minor way. 4. SG has all the contacts for the events and even though I can tell he likes things his way, he appears to be a hard worker. Able to take his vision and turn it into something. Who knows the financial minutia of this deal but I'd say that dojo is on life support now. I've no doubt that Patrick & Joey have verbally if not physically assaulted SG & Trey. The problem for SG is possession is 9/10ths and unless his name is on the building, this could turn out to be a protracted, very expensive lesson for him in picking a business partner.

What I am putting facts to are the comments that Spa Guy also bought / purchased the building. It doesn't appear this is the case -- I believe Patrick purchased 100% of the brick and mortar building. If you watch Spa Guy's comments, he never mentions that he himself bought / purchased the building. Again, just trying to put facts on the table. Also, as I mentioned none of us was there or has seen a full length video and so while Spa Guy's latest video might be convincing and pull at your heart strings, an entire video has not yet been posted, from start to finish. McCarty posts that it is him but the charges were dropped. I got in touch with someone that has a stellar reputation in the Elvis community and he met McCarty at the Dojo and said his radar went up right away. Apparently McCarty has no footprints for all of the things he claims he is: author, motivational speaker, life coach and this person ran a background check and McCarty has a list of priors and the charges weren't dropped on the one thing, he actually served time. I asked Joey Smith about McCarty and he said McCarty is a great friend who sort of just showed up in his life. McCarty was on Wade's channel dropping all kinds of tidbits about what was going on at the Dojo and I felt 100% that he's the one working on getting Spa Guy and Trey out of there. If I'm right, Patrick Thompson is in trouble. He supposedly put $500,000 into the Dojo and I've seen no indication that Patrick is a Harvard grad or Mensa is missing his presence at meetings.

Spa Guy couldn't have done it all by himself which is why he sought after a business partner who invested a lot of money into it. Like I said, theres more to it than what Spa Guy is telling us or he's leaving certain things out. Showing us edited clips from phone calls between him and Patrick raises questions, why not release the full phone calls and let the public decide for themselves who is right and wrong? This screams red flag on Spa Guys end. Is there something he doesn't want us to hear that he might have said? Is he afraid of looking bad? Maybe he's made threats, who knows. Spa Guy has backed himself into a corner by making this public. What he should have done is dealt with Patrick in court then once everything was over make a video and explain what went down at the Dojo.

I think they should stop with this museum, that is all for earning some money. Fans can go to Graceland, that’s where Elvis lived, and you already have a museum there. I also don’t understand why fans want to see and look inside the ambulance that carried Elvis from his Graceland to the hospital after he died, i find that inappropriate. Even though I definitely have my own opinion about Spa Guy and Billy and Jo, I’m keeping that to myself. You’re welcome. However, Memphis is not safe! The area around Graceland is a hot spot for thieves. As soon as you arrive at the airport and people realize where you’re going, they start to tell you stories about what happened to them. There’s stories about purses , phones, shoes, coats, money and even food stolen out of cars. Spa Guy was only telling the truth. He still owned a business there by Graceland when he made those comments. He told the truth, even though it could have affected his business. Elvis fans will not stop going to Graceland. We love Elvis and now that Lisa is gone Graceland is our main way to connect with them. We just need to be aware of the problem so we can take steps to not be a victim.

I rarely watch Spa Guy anymore, but caught these few with Billy Smith and now the Dojo mess. He is cocky and thinks he is right and the world is wrong. He got mad a couple years ago because his channel wasn't growing as fast as he wanted it too and did a video pretty much yelling at people for not subscribing. Telling them that his channel needed to grow so he can keep making video's. So he wanted lots of subscribers to make money...which is all fine to make money from You Tube, but it was the way he went about it. I've seen him knock people while in his car/or on the street because they dare get in the way while he was filming, maybe he was in their way! I just don't like his character. The other thing, is that he had it out with another Elvis video maker...he doesn't seem to get along with anyone. I think Trey is a nice young man, but he is being drawn into Spa Guy's world and that isn't good. He is going down the wrong path in my opinion and it is just that...my opinion and not everyone will agree. This feud or argument with the Smith's and his Dojo Partner should have never been played out on You Tube or anywhere else. It should have been handle in private, this was handled all wrong. Again, my opinion, but why does Spa Guy air his dirty laundry in public....because he needs everyone's sympathy. Trouble is, like you said, there is two sides to every story and we are getting only one side and we are getting video's that are only half the story. They all need to be adults about this and work things out or else break apart. But I was shocked when Spa Guy said about Memphis/Whitehaven being so dangerous. Well, duh....most people know that...it's a city and I don't know any bigger city that isn't dangerous...even smaller cities are dangerous...cities are dangerous. Thus why as it's been for years, you use common sense when going to these places. I went to Graceland in 2019, stayed at the Hotel Napoleon down town. We were told that it was the safest zip code, but still not to be out at night walking alone and such. During the day, we felt decently safe, walked down to eat, rode the trolley around, etc...Drove to Graceland and took the tour, did the museums and a few gift shops. Memphis has never been safe, Baltimore has never been safe, Harrisburg has never been safe...none are safe, but you don't go to the "bad" areas, especially at night, you keep your car empty of anything that would be temping to break in for. Again, common sense. So that was uncalled for, Spa Guy has been going to Memphis for a long time and yes, he has said before it isn't safe. His vehicle has been broken into and wasn't locked the one time. But that doesn't give him the right to say what all he did this go around. Say Memphis/Whitehaven is a place that you want to be alert as the crime rate is high. Certainly throw some disclaimers out there, but do it better. Do better Spa Guy. Again....all my own opinions and not everyone will agree. I'm fine with that, we all have our opinions.

He is bringing it up again, because the police and the DA in that county and city aren't doing their job protecting people from criminals and executing judges orders as they should. He is telling people just know if you come the police and DA probably aren't going to help you unless you are shot ,because all they care about are federal offenses per the cops statement. Other than that the cop basically said to billy that they don't care and won't do anything to the criminal. Case in point it took the cops an hour and a half to get there when they were assaulted. He just wants people to know the police aren't going to do crap to help you, because the district attorney won't proscecute criminals so what's the point of the cops arresting them. That was his point with the salon owner article. They didn't help her arrest her attacker either. He is saying now that he knows the police and DA are crap your protection is in your own hands at your own risk. Apparently you guys scored low on oral and reading comprehension in school. Non prosecuting disrict attorneys are why crime is running rampant everywhere, and the criminals know they can get away with it which was also his point.

Billy Smith put out the first video, putting Spa Guy down. So just because he’s family to Elvis, it doesn’t make it right to consistently put Spa Guy down because he doesn’t agree with Billy Smiths memory of events that has happened in the past. Everyone has the right to defend themselves, isn’t this what America is all about! If Spa Guy was to agree with everything that he’s been told, what would be the point of doing videos. He loves to research, and has a loyal following. You sound like a very jealous woman, of Spa Guys success. May I suggest that you don’t complain about someone’s opinions/success $, and video it. I can tell Spa guy likes to be the lord and savior of things. He also likes to play victim. What made me mad was the way all of a sudden he is telling people not to go to Memphis, too dangerous but it was fine just two weeks previous. Spa guy your very transparent.

That's what a few people said, that if he was truly concerned about the fans safety he would have made the video a month ago but didn't so he wouldn't lose any money on tours, movie night or the dojo during Elvis week. Memphis is just conveniently not safe after he got kicked out of the dojo. It really bothers me that he is trying to hurt Graceland. I heard him and Trey got kicked out of Graceland. Don't know if that's true or not but his loyal followers are texting and emailing Graceland about this whole situation. They're also going to all these government agencies and they and spa guy are talking about going to the FBI. Spa guy also said he wants to go to the lgbt community as well as law enforcement about Patrick and Joey supposedly calling him and Trey homosexuals and supposed homophobic slurs. He's out to take away fans from the dojo and too cause trouble. You should get the word out. I still have to finish listening to your video. I'm 3 quarters through. Stopped to read the comments.

Derek, spa guy is saying he's 50% owner. I couldn't understand how a 50% owner could get locked out of his own property and the police or DA not do anything about it. He must be lying or fudging the truth about something. I did hear an old video where spa guy said Patrick put in a lot of money, way more than him. He must have forgotten about that. Hope this bites him in his cocky, arrogant, self righteous and condescending rude ass.

No one threw any punches or wanted to press charges so there's nothing the cops could have done. I think Spa Guy was ridiculous to think the cops would be there in ten minutes during Elvis Week when there's tons of tourists in town.

Your app you're absolutely right I was there and saw much of what was going on I went there to do the movie night with the spa guy and Trey and then when I got to do the tour for the spot guy had to meet at the tiger man dojo and I got to talking to them and I know Joey's wife Ruth and as I started putting two together I see the problem the spa guy loves to put narratives on his views he's not telling the whole truth they went in to the tigerman dojo to start trouble they're doing it to try to get a response at a people working there and also he's trying to pull money out of the dojo the tours and all that stuff was all supposed to go through the dojo to pay back all the money it took Patrick is investment he stopped the PayPal to where he was getting the money directly instead of it going to help pay payroll power bills and everything else this stuff I did not know just my guy is not telling the whole truth he tells some but he don't tell where he starts to trouble he's very arrogant very cocky and he loves the power and he loves disrespecting The Smiths not a good element so after I was there and seen with my own eyes he the spa guy and tray was getting everybody on the tour to talk about how Billy Smith was really not related to Elvis and he was going to try to prove it through DNA he's starting a narrative and he's really upset a lot of the inner circle of Elvis's old friends and family that's the truth

I can't share to Twitter because I had to delete the app and others because my phone was too full and ready to crash and I don't have a computer. Maybe someone on here can share on Twitter. I saved it to my KZbin but all I do is watch videos, not make them so I don't know that anyone would see it. I did get my 1st subscriber Saturday night because I said I subscribed to his channel in a comment section about the spa guy. This guy isn't a spa guy fan and he runs a KZbin Elvis channel in Britain so I could ask him if he could grab it off my saved thing and share it. I'm not tech savvy. Kudos to you for standing up. Right - so Elvis, Billy and Jo were so "close" that non-family members stood up for Elvis when he got married and not Billy. Not only was Billy not part of the wedding party, he wasn't invited to the ceremony. In addition, it's dangerous for you to say that White Haven is fine for single people / women to visit.
