Even though Elvis wasn't that much older than the Stanley brothers, I believe he became more of a father figure to them. I feel he took more time with them than Vernon did and always looked out for them regardless how he felt about Dee taking his mother's place with his daddy. He still treated Dee well also. Just shows what a great caring person he was. Thank you for this wonderful series with Billy!

I very much appreciate your opening statement about "Haters won't be tolerated". Some fans say things about people that Elvis knew personally that they wouldn't have ever said to Elvis' face if had the chance. I understanding having feelings & opinions, but if they're negative, they don't always need to be expressed. I've known Billy personally for some years. My wife, daughter & myself had dinner with him years ago. Just recently I was happy to share an old article from 1961 with Billy. In it was an interview from Elvis talking about his 3 lil step- bros back home. Clearly from interview Elvis loved being like a big brother to them. I know Billy appreciated seeing/reading it, and I would encourage others to read it if they want to research to find and read it. Billy's been a stand up guy, always is on the positive tip for years, just refusing to discuss negative things on his Facebook page, and only trying to always share his positive thoughts and memories. Thanx for doing this vid. & shining a little light on Billy S.

Such wonderful memories of an amazing childhood with ELVIS! How incredibly fortunate to be able to say that he is related, if not by blood, but related to Elvis Presley is such a privilege and an honor! I am very happy that you have interviewed Billy Stanley and wish you can also interview his brother Davis as well. Together I am sure they can share so many more wonderful stories with Elvis fans. We would all love to hear them ! Thank you Spa Guy for doing this and shedding light on the life of an amazing and incredible human being, ELVIS AARON PRESLEY! People seem to concentrate on the negative side of his life, but don't care to focus on the positive contributions he made to this world! Elvis was a gift to the world. He was born with a unique talent and personality unmatched by anyone else to this very day!

Wow, I been into RC airplanes and helicopters since 1990. I never had any idea that Elvis flew them as well. There must not be a single photo of his airplanes or I would think I’d have seen them before. Awesome work, really enjoyed it, I was smiling as I listened to you guys at the Church talking about Elvis five bombing The kids. Haha. We all wish we could have hung out with Elvis!

Many thanks,, Spa Guy for letting us ride along with Billy Stanley. That had to be like living at Disneyland for these young step brothers of Elvis. Neat to see the actual spot(s) were Elvis tried flying his RC planes and places lived by Stanleys. I got a chuckle out of Vernon's theory of a corner lot having more ground. OK so swap houses to obtain a corner lot. :)

Love all of your videos and learning so much on the history of Elvis. Me and my identical twin sister Carla were eight years old when he passed. We remember it like yesterday. He did a show twice in Savannah Georgia, Once in 1956 and 1977. We will be going to Graceland on our 50th Birthday this October. So excited It's our first time.

Look Billy up on Facebook and send a friend request. He's a really super nice guy. He post all kinds of stories about Elvis and his brothers growing up with Elvis. I had always heard about the Stanley's but didn't know much about them. I found Billy on Facebook. Hasn't even been a year. So glad he accepted my friend request. I really enjoy his post and his hound dog racing. He racing cars for Elvis. He has a Facebook page called Hound Dog Racing. I'm friends with his Brother David but he doesn't post as much as Billy. He's a nice guy too. So sad they lost their brother Ricky not long ago. He was a good guy too.

I’ve really been getting into Elvis lately, but he’s been my very favorite musician, rockstar, personality, and legend since I was a child. Elvis passed away when I was only 7 years old, but I still remember that horrible time to this day. Christmas time is still filled with all the Christmas tunes he recorded, and it wouldn’t be Christmas without him. I just want to thank you for your fantastic ability to get in close, and share all the things the rest of us find overwhelmingly fascinating. When you do the “then and now” pictures, well, that just blows my mind, and is one of my favorite things you do. I truly appreciate your channel completely, and I hope you carry on for as long as possible. You get to the truth my friend, and your my go-to on the entire subject God bless you Friend

The first proper 'reading' book I bought as a teenager was 'We Love You Tender' by the Stanleys (still got it). Many people have given their opinions of them over the years - and we know there was a lot of rivalry in the inner circle with clashes of personalities. The overriding sense from the book though is how much they loved and looked up to Elvis. Great video Billys!
