Let me think. When you’re washing your hands with long sleeves and the your sleeves get wet. When you wake up in the middle of the night and don’t have a water bottle on your bedside table. When you thought you were charging your phone but it wasn’t plugged in. When you go to cook something but you don’t have one important ingredient. When you wake up five minutes before your alarm goes off. When you pour too much hand sanitizer into your hands. When you leave your chapstick in your car and then it’s all melted. When you have your head phones in but someone keeps trying to talk to you. Walking through wet grass and your shoes are now squeaky. When you have a drawer of chargers and take a long time to untangle them. When your phone charger can’t reach your bed. When there’s an internet error in the middle of you playing a video game. Little kids asking to play games on your phone. When someone is standing in front of the thing you need in a grocery store but you’re too shy to ask them to move. Loud dogs. Pepsi slander.

You know what’s mildly inconvenient? Loose Doors that don’t fully fit in the frame! Also: Not all places have all sodas because they have to do a bunch of legal deals to actually sell it in stores. Fun fact, McDonald’s gets more revenue from their soda than the damn food!

Actually the Amish thing is interesting. When the kids turn a certain age they get to go out and experience the outside world and decided to stay or go. If they decide to leave then no matter how much time passes they get to come back and then do the christining or something like that and become Amish fully. Most people just come back anyways mostly because they find the outside world more intense and stressful than Amish life. Which people now think is why it's easier for disabled people to freak out and have panic attacks in modern world than in medieval times is because it's not as intense with lights, sounds, smells and such

Speaking of events in history, here in my town we have a duck pond connected with an old town of sam Houston. Basically every year they'd have a festival there where you can watch events, make candles, buy food and items the people are selling. It's all pretty good!

As someone from Upstate New York, Ross talking about the Farmers Museum made me laugh so much because our school would take us there in 5th grade! That field trip started out horrible because the bus driver had gotten us lost for almost 4 hours and I had to pee! We barely had time to do stuff at the museum! Nonetheless it was still a fun day!

Pretty sure a lot of the breaking Amish stuff is young people during their allowed period away. Like it’s part of the tradition to spend a good amount of time away from the community (if they want to) to see what life is like otherwise, so they can choose to come back or stay. I think they only have so long until they have to make that choice, but if they leave again and come back they are shunned

+1 for oat milk. Its really flavored (it tastes like drinking oatmeal) but it goes GREAT in hot chocolate. Fantastic hot chocolate base. Its great. Coconut/oat milk mixture is good for cereal. The coconut and oat cancel each other out enough for the cereal to mask the flavors entirely! Especially if you have horrifically sugary/chocolatey cereal. Soy milk is gross.

We went to KI this past weekend and I was with my brothers to ride rides. We got thirsty cuz it was hot and the only water the nearest drink stand had was Dasani. According to the younger brother (and I can vouch), Dasani "tastes like how rust feels". The water fountains were leagues better. Not worth the 5 bucks for a bottle.
