there is also a feature that even poe does not have and thats if you are looking for say +1 level to fireball you can hide every single tab that does not have those items in it and the tabs that do have that item it still highlights that item that has the + level

This guys video was really fun indeed and he definitely deserves every sub. I've been playing Last Epoch since it became available a few years ago, can't even remember when it was. It's an amazing game just for the fact that EHG not only claims to listen but actually tries to find solutions. And they are not afraid to try new things instead of playing it safe. The Runemaster alone is such a good experience and it's unlike any class in an ARPG so far. The closest I've ever played was a Warden in LotRO. And then the amazing QoL. The only issue I have with the release next week is that it's one day after the Nightingale release.

I really like D4 a lot. As i do Last Epoch. So this vid you're reacting to, had me laugh hard several times. Because it is on point very often. On a sidenote: You had me burst out in laughter with "ketchup mechanic". I want a shirt.

I was on the wave of new players that just bought this game and I've only sunk 10 hours in on Necro lvl 30..... wow minions actually do something!. Forcing myself to stop now until the 21st when I wanna make a shaman

Im playing sice day one, love all the usual arpg games but this is THE BEST imho.

It looks great visually and mechanically, but it also look very easy systematically, or hand holding, or more like you'd go on autopilot which will make me bored quick. However I have never played it so I don't know. Personally I'm very exited about Path of Exiles which i think will be the game that keep me grinding and grumbling for years to come

LE is somewhere in the middle of D4 and PoE, but leans more towards PoE. There isn't a lot of handholding, but it appears infinitely easier to new players and more fun for many existing players because LE actually properly explain stuff in game, everything is intuitive, it has proper QoL, and EHG removed a lot of the PoE jank. If you are one of the few percent of PoE hardcore players who don't want to use a guide and play something completely different and unique with every league, yeah, than LE might not have the longevity that you want. But for the majority of PoE players, the skill tree, the crafting and the trading, are uncomfortable overkill. And for many of them, D4 is just too simple and boring. There simply hasn't been a good alternative in between D4 and PoE until now. I don't count Grim Dawn, which I love, because I think that it has a different focus.

@@markus.schiefer I'm one of those in the small percentages for sure, I've got alot of time on my hands and I understand quite well that times have changed and people need more quick action rpg stuff to keep them focused and don't judge anyone for being the opposite and like you said its infinitively easier for new players which to me suggest that I will get bored quick. I don't really care about graphics or story, its more about the combinations and figuring it out and once I do there are plenty of options to go back and try different things, the more complicated it gets the better it is for me, as long as the systems in place work as intended ofc. Its great to see more types being added to the genre which will be good for us all with more competition and ideas being brought forth for everyone to enjoy

@@Bubajumba The options you might like are that different skills (or skill effects) can work with other skills, like skill 1 being configured to cast skill 2, which still has it's own tree. There are a lot of pretty crazy combinations you can create. Unlike PoE you can also respec at will, everything except your specialization, so experimenting is easy.

You’ll probably enjoy LE. The fact that different skill effects have a knock on to other skill effects can end up with some crazy builds (if you’re competent enough, and if you’re a hardcore Poe player you should be)

Diablo purests that "hate" other arpgs make no sense to me. I'm a Diablo fan boy for life, Diablo 1 and 2 hooked me into PC gaming as a kid (got plenty D3 play time, and D4 honestly but it's burning out and that's unfortunate), but I will always give others a chance. Torchlight? Was okay played 1 and 2 plenty. 3 was garbo IMHO. PoE, wasn't for to deep for me, not my bag, but clearly a great game for others. Last Epoch, I've pre ordered and I'm clearly going to get my money's worth.

yeah, but i think he meant that u can equip gears with all T5 affixes at some point, which you can't craft at lower levels

You can make unique items with potential from legendary and use them on lvl 1 char...witch mean u can have at least 1 tier 7 mod on lvl 1 weapon.

No point in playing right now they're gonna move your characters to another realm. So you won't be able to use your characters on the server when it's released.

You can keep playing your characters if you want. The Cycle and regular realm are exactly the same this time. Cycle just has a clean start if you want that but you won’t miss anything.

It's definitely a good game, with some great ideas, BUT - it's been out for four years. People keep saying it's in early access, but there comes a time when let's be honest, it's not early access, it's an unfinished game. It's been my complaint since I bought it pre-COVID. Because of this, we've been expected to give it a pass for years for unfixed bugs, of which there are quite a few. From teleportation portals, warpath and other skills acting odd, constant dc/lag issues to LITERALLY all ranged rogue skills being broken, they tend to spend time pushing forward in their new features rather than fixing some base problems. IF 1.0 addresses some problems that have been around for years, it'll be fantastic. I WANT this game to be as great as some people feel it is, but man, it has some problems that people wouldn't dream of overlooking in other games. Everyone loves day one, and though it's been out for awhile, we're pretending next week is day one. If the devs can deliver a smooth experience starting next week that they've had some challenges with so far, it'll truly be right next to POE as one of the go to arpgs.

And the legendary potential is frankly just like Diablo - hunt for a super rare and instead of slapping a unique aspect on it, you slap it on a unique. The endgame is reskinned maps (the Sirus style era). Most of it borrows from other arpgs, but PoE is basically D2 with Final Fantasy X skill tree and Final Fantasy VII gems (they've said as much). Still, it has some good ideas and if it tackles it's bug problems, it'll still be up there.
