Hey, i just discovered you, but makes me smiles as your first contraption reminds me of my old redstone... In the past we were learning and our circuits were really visual, we didn't bother minimising all lines and stuff... Just making biiiig "and" doors and loong lines of repeaters to isolate flow of current like IRL cables... So fun that it's the same principles across the world :D Speaking of that... Actually got to build with sacred Redstone back in the day, this was when JL2579's server was popular. He ended up helping me out on a few builds. The most memorable one was a 2 by 2 piston door with only one sticky piston, this was back before slime blocks were even a thing. I wanted to make a 3 by 3 with only one sticky piston but couldn't come up with a good design if it's even possible at all.
