Your comment made me smile so wide!! I hadn’t even thought about that, but you make a good point! So many artists are very hard on themselves for their older work, and I’ve absolutely done the same thing; but I’m trying to be kinder to my younger self. Younger Mo would think my art today is super cool, and I wouldn’t want to hurt her feelings. She did great and I should be proud of her; just like other artists should be proud of their younger selves for what they accomplished! A little ramble, but your comment made me think. Thank you!

man, i feel old, i remember when you used to make ALL that old aphmau fanart and like the original bittersweet and Phantasi art LOLL you were literally was one of the reasons i got kickstarted into taking art seriously, and now I'm a children book illustrator, and do commissions on the side! :]

Sorry, can we talk about the way that apparently ROBIN and CLAUDE had something going on in the Fireplace drawing??? 13:47 😭 I remember the old days of Robin and Camilla but I did not remember Robin and Claude AT ALL

AHAH YEAH!! Originally there was going to be a love triangle between Camilla, Robin, and Claude and it was supposed to be some sort of arc for Robin realizing she’s bisexual (she was Bi at the time). Claude was one of those obnoxious flirt characters; but as I developed him more along with the rest of the characters I realized how wrong it felt to have him be in this love triangle and that he felt much more comfortable as Scott’s partner instead. And it’s been that way ever since! There was going to be this big character arc in early Phantasi days about Claude realizing his feelings for Scott and how he’s been masking his emotions by trying to pursue romantic relationships with women; internalized homophobia yknow? Early Claude is quite the character! Very different to how he is now haha
