I feel like that recipe works well for two reasons -- (1) folks who play this game either respond well to pressure, or they burn out and become iron smurfs, and (2) you kinda gotta have a forceful personality for FPS players to take you seriously.

Noticing a lot of comments asking “can I do X instead? Aim training is boring” The Voltaic x WHJ Aimlabs playlist is 30 minutes long. That’s it. In the wise words of the famous bodybuilder Ronny Coleman: “everyone wants to be strong, but ain’t nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weight”. If you can’t commit 30 minutes to some boredom to get good, then maybe you don’t want to get good that much.

If you have two VODs and in one VOD you hit shots, and the other you don't, then you need practice. Practice builds consistency. Consistency carries you through drops in confidence, distractions, disadvantaged fights, and even chronic health issues. My aim used to go from Silver to Immortal throughout the day. I practiced and figured out what I needed to be more consistently while having vertigo and I've narrowed that gap significantly. I can't make up for every issue vertigo causes me, but if I can get consistent enough then even with my debuff I'm still able to win. With this, I hit Masters in 4 different games and am currently D3 in Val despite adding additional debuffs. PRACTICE MORE, DO IT.

Recently I've been focusing on strat so much, I didn't realise my aim was deteriorating I was losing the easiest gun fights that I could've won weeks ago, but now I'm missing every single shot I had a game where we both played phoenix. ironically, both of us are doing the same thing (meaning we have the same mind) but he keeps out aiming me. He's literally carrying the team with his aim and out fragging everyone + he knows my strat as well as I know his. That's when I realised, I needed my aim back. And now woohoojin posted this and it's a wake up call for me to start aim training

What was that thing that one really good player said? Plan = goodplan; If(*bullet != head) Plan = NULL;
@Phi24 Жыл бұрын
Honestly the biggest problem I see with people in my elo (Gold/Plat) is not aiming before shooting. People aim and shoot at the same time so by the time they're close to their head (if they even get that chance), they're completely inaccurate spraying and praying. I have a clip last week of a kayo wiffing 5 shots on me while I slowly make sure my crosshair is on his head and I 1 tap him. Doesn't matter how good your aim is if you don't do it before you shoot.
@Phi24 Жыл бұрын
btw flicking at your appointment isn't what I mean when I say aiming. I mean actually taking the time to make sure your crosshair is in a good position BEFORE taking your first shot

I used to play Kovaak's 0.5 - 3 hours a day 3 years ago. I just enjoyed aim training and I reached 400+ hrs without noticing lmao. Now I'm in college and have less time, but from those effects of aim trainers, I can still play Widow in OW at Master - Grandmaster without trying too hard. In Valorant, It is more strategic, so my problem is the other way around(My Brain smol). Even from that, I'm still convinced that no matter how big ur brain is, you can't make the play ur brain wants if you can't even click on head in the first place.

@BeEmpathic5 ай бұрын
Hello! Oh no, you did convince me. I thought that aim doesn't matter, and I thought that you are approving that, and I was wrong, thank you for leading me out of this mistake, but now I'm 8 months in aim train, and I'm not even good at aiming and shooting. Now I can see that, my aim is not even acceptable in my rank. I think that I need at least 1 more year to achieve a level of aiming good enough to have any chance in fight. This video didn't only convince me to train my aim, but did show me how to achieve anything in life, no by forcing yourself and doing all work in short time to get your gratification fast, but by hard, slow work, small, steady, consistent steps. I wish that coach banana Woohoojin did show up earlier in my life, but I'm grateful that he did at any point of it, thank you Woohoojin.
