Panic and rushing is literally the biggest problem i have with my aim, which for a while fed into itself, which turned me into a very un-confident, passive player. The moment i followed this guide and waited until i was on the head, and stopped freaking out I started stomping fights that I would not have been able to take literally a week ago, to the point where my tracker now looks like I gave my account to a smurf. Im on gold and i forgot everything i need to practice daily. I really need to gather all the aim train routines and methods I rush shots, when i figure out on the next round i don't remember that mistake when fighting another one, My memory is so weak If anyone can do a quick say on what to do for practice, overaim drill, aimlab 5times, dm, no rushing shots, i dont have any playbook to play or make cause my weak brain, What to do when team is negative no comm no help etc.

For aim training. you can do this guys playlist and for rushing shots I broke that habit by going into DM with a guardian and binding my reload to left click, so whenever I missed a headshot (that wasn't a kill) my guardian would reload and I would die. If you get the onetap kill then your guardian automatically reloads in deathmatch and you can continue

Very rarely do I use minimap refrag, and I know i probably should more often. But most of the time i just shoot in the direction that i hear shooting from and most of the time, i can spray at people’s location through smokes or through walls and I will get the kill. Ehh im not so sure. Even in those kinds of games, you first want to at least be ROUGHLY aimed at the enemy before tracking/microadjusting onto them. Purposefully missing bullets doesn't really provide much of an advantage unless we are talking about guns like the HAMR from BO2 where the firerate of the weapon speeds up the longer you spray (IIRC). In valorant it is important because the time for your recoil to reset + the semi-random spray patterns make the results really inconsistent unless you're aiming as closely on the enemy's head as possible. If you don't have to worry about your ammo count (e.g LMGs) then sure, pre-firing may prove to be more advantageous, but not for any consistent factors, but more because of the luck factor. Snipers on the other hand, in most games, are probably not as consistent to pre-fire with. If you miss the pre-fire then the window of time before your will be able to shoot your second bullet will typically be quite significant, and with your TTK being shorter compared to other weapons, you should ideally be taking your time before shooting, and if you get hit then you should be able to 'power-through' the screenshake depending on the game's implementation of it. Bad gun usage habits will definitely make things less advantageous for you, and relying on the luck factor will further make that "advantage" less noticeable. The key is to apply the right aiming techniques for the right situations. And when in doubt, just do what I did. I'm easily beating sweaty lv2500 players in COD Cold War through just applying valorant's aiming techniques of strafing before aiming for the head, taking a shot, and then what im doing differently is instead of aiming for a second headshot I'm immediately going for center-of-mass. In COD it's not easy hitting headshots but I've specifically done tracking scenarios in Aimlab so for me personally it's not actually that much of a challenge compared to 95% of COD players. I think the biggest factor worth considering is that pre-firing when not even on-target means you run out of ammo much faster and the reward is negligible since ultimately you end up wasting a lot of bullets overall. Scavenger perk would obviously compensate for that bad habit + maybe faster reload attachments. But I think that good players don't worry about faster reloads in COD unless they're using LMGs.
