@PassedPawns2 ай бұрын
Thank you for the support! I don't know the specifics of your upcoming tournament but I would just recommend reviewing the openings that you play a few days before the competition and spend the next two weeks just doing puzzles and playing/analyzing games. When you're playing at the tournament, remember that you're there to have fun, don't worry about the result, only worry about getting experience to become a better player. Good luck!

my overview (helpful, i guess) (my elo is 1217- ?) 12/07/24 i had so much tunnel vision, but i decided not to give up. after all, i got 46 on puzzle rush. it seems like my mind was not fixated the right way, but it's not the video's fault. this happens regularly, and this video might help stopping this. i was kinda worried, so i stopped after 3 games. +0 elo, 1 Win, 1 Draw, 1 Loss
@PassedPawns3 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the overview. If you're experiencing tunnel vision or any sort of issue with focusing, try breathing exercises. It sounds silly but it's done by a lot of professional athletes in various sports and it helps me regain focus in a position. Let me know if this helps.

That is all I ever do now is tactical puzzles but I have reason for it. A good 90% of all chess players uses a database or engine or have one at there disposal 99% of the time. I don't waste my time on playing others that could be cheating on me using there engine. I do tactical puzzles. Knowing how to play openings is another big one mix the two and you will be 1900 elo in no time.
