Is gunner sight view voluntary, or didn't U disable it yet? It helps greatly to aim, as u don't have to account for sight distance, Cuz ull aim from the barel instead of the gunner sight If u wanna disable it, it's somewere in options. Maybe ground Batle options

It's voluntary. I turned it on along with turning off the hit camera (the thing in the top right corner that shows the penetration and what your shell did) with a friend for fun lol

I would need to be paid a nice ammount to play comet 1. In my experience of Spading it, MY GOD, IT SUCKS ASS The 10s reload isn't too nice, and Apds sucks ass in damage (as expected). I load apcbc instead and I get weird nonpens lol (skill issue) Nonetheless, it sucks Cuz 10s reload and no armor (other than the troll armor in turret) I use the challenger instead

For some reason I found the comet bouncing alot of panthers but that's probably because of volumetric being funny. But yes, challenger is way better besides it's very tall turret and recommend that instead. I tend to use solid shot mainly, and only treat apds like a he shell, using it in certain situations, like sniping someone frontally from far distances.
