Vileplume underrated. 80 almost 2 shots everything. If you get 1 sleep turn then you basically instant ko. 140 bulk with Erica support and ramping energy. It's very strong

it isn't completely unplayable.... but as you can see in the video, by god is it slow. i can almost see a card being replaced by a chatot just so you can find your evolution lines quicker, bc bricking hurts you hard with this deck. there's 0 counterplay if you can't find any of your evolutions

What if you used wigglytuff ex instead? Stage 1 so it’s a bit more consistent, same amount of damage, energy cost, and more (I think) hp than vileplume. Granted it’s an EX so gives up 2 points I guess but seems like it could be better

I'm surprised they allowed Genome Hacking to be so broken with such a limited card pool so far. Older cards with similar effects would specify that the attack wouldn't work if energy couldn't be discarded or you have pokemon like Ditto who has to have the right energy to use the attack. I guess you could say the 3 energy cost is completely limiting since energy is so essential in this version of the game but a tanky basic that can swiftly counter slow evolution cards with amazing high-energy attacks is still pretty ridiculous.

thought of this exact deck list a few days ago but i dont have 2 vileplumes so ive been running it with exeggutor ex instead because its a good wall (especially with erika) and is good in the early game, while shiinotic and mew ex can clutch up in the late game

I just used it. It was funny. Yes he kept flipping heads waking up, but he flipped tails on the one that mattered. ggnore. Was against this weird psychic deck, slowbro, mewtwo ex, golurk, flabebe. All my bench mons were setup to counter w/e he did (vileplume/shiinotic/mew ex). I outstalled a golem deck lol. Once he finally brought out golem, i put in mew and atk, he dips out into his other golem atks mew, i sabrina him (all his bench mons were

Vile plum and wigglytuff ex are basically the same but wigglytuff only stage 1

Hey dude try this out 1x Psyduck 2x froakie fragadier and greninja 1x clobbopus and grappleoct 1x marshadow 2x research 2x pokeball 1x potion 1x mistey 1x Giovanni 1x leaf It works sometimes but when it does it's really fun You start with Psyduck and they can't use supporters Then build up grappleoct and marshadow in the back Get a greninja lineup And the grappleoct's attack does 70 damage and forces the pokemon to retreat Using gio and greninja we attack for 100 once And when grappleoct goes down use marshadow to get the final kill It's really fun when it works But it's quite inconsistent
