@@DefinitelyNotHidan we have no lore on Yugito, the OP is still incorrect though, of the 5 cannon times weve seen jinchuriki in their home village, only Gaara was treated poorly intentionally, Narutos mistreatment was not the norm for konoha (Mito and Kushine were married to Hokages) he would likely have had a better time if Danzo didnt intentionally polarize the village against him by leaking that he was the 9 tails right after the attack. That leave only Yagura (who we saw kisames flashbacks) who was the 4th Mizukage, you can make an arguement for Ginkaku and Kinkaku, but arent really jinchuriki. The idea that every other country mistreated their WALKING NUKES, is based on either nothing, or some terrible shippuden filler I havent watched.

One thing. The 2 tail jinchuriki, Yugito Nii, spent most of her childhood learning how to control Mitatabi. She was able to control him to the point of being able to give a paw print for a beastiary. She knew full well how to use him and his abilities. My guess is she underestimated Hidan's abilities and didn't use her jin cloak.

I always thought the Hidden Cloud was always kinda nuts. Konoha has so many powerful kekkei genkai that it always felt like cheating, but the Cloud has lightning release, which is ridiculously powerful in the hands of somebody who knows how to use it. I mean, the 3rd Raikage was able to, with just lightining release, create an impenetrable shield, create an unstoppable attack, and move at ridiculous speeds. I know that he's the pinnacle of lightning release, but that's still insane for a base elemental chakra nature.

You forgot that they're the only people that can fight tailed beasts just with their fists, can break susano with their fist. B was the first person to technically kill Sasuke, multiple times during the same fight. They also got one of the seven Swordsmen of the Mist sword to change Alliance mid-fight. The first to have a perfect jinchuriki in their Village. The only Village to have people survived the Amaterasu black flames.

I have a feeling Yugito died since she thought she killed Hidan, but since Hidan is immortal she powered down...leaving herself open and Hidan slashed her just enough to get her blood. When Yugito got ready for round two Hidan did his ritual and then stabbed himself...thus transferring the damage to Yugito.

To further know the hidden clouds Village's defense, them being so high would mean less air. Aside from making it difficult to breathe for anyone who isn't a native, I imagine fire and wind Jitsu wouldn't be effective. However lightning will have an advantage because there's less wind resistance. It might be why that's their focus.

Land of lightning is surrounded by water and clouds are also water. This means their jutsu are powered up and more effective in those areas. So all of they're main opponents would have a chakra nature nerf while they had a buff. Ie (water, wind, & lighting) So even if they were 2nd. They would be 1st with a home field advantage.🙌🏾⚡🌩

Winds are typically stronger high up in mountains. I would assume wind style jutsu is more effective. Fires also catch and burn faster at high elevations. They only start more commonly at lower elevations due to higher biomass but wildfires travel upwards. There’s also a whole country who’s gimmick is to move mountains and earth.

@@100navat Well, if Hidden cloud can get Kurama at their disposal, it's possible their nation will grow stronger much earlier before Naruto have a time to growth. Without Kurama inside naruto its also mean he can be more weaker, not because he really need Kurama to become strong, but because his will to be very powerful can possibility would be more lacking because without Kurama he would just get a normal childhood without anyone resentment, even when he gets really strong later, it could be possible he will stuck in Jiraiya level in most of his life (can be slightly stronger because his Uzumaki bloodline to get enormous chakra but maybe not by far) until he meets Hagoromo to give him yin and yang release and a six of paths ability to boost his power level more into finally become a god-tier level. But also if Kushina did get taken by cloud it's mean bye-bye for Naruto existence from the start.

Regarding the overall military might differences between Hidden Cloud and Hidden Leaf... Hidden Leaf doesn't need to focus as heavily on adding to their military might, as they are usually the home of the two people who can kill everyone by themselves if they felt like it. So the Hidden Cloud has a strong incentive to try closing that gap with as many strong shinobi as they possibly can... Especially since they have a strong urge to fuck around during peacetime.

Yugito’s capture was one fight I really wish they would show in its entirety. She set a trap for Hidan and Kakuzu but still lost. I think their unique abilities make them too difficult to defeat with no intel on the first encounter. Case in point, Asuma’s death.

When you rewatch these fights between top tiers, the urge always very short, and very underwhelming. I rewatched Itachi vs Yagura, and all Itachi did was some basic ass fireball jutsu, and amaterasu when that didn't work. And Yagura was lame. Legit all he did was jinchuriki cloak, and beast bomb. And this scared Itachi away, AND killed Itachi's fellow Akatsuki who was a Seven Swordsman of the Mist.

The connection of Minato's bloodline runs deep with the Cloud Village. He spoiled there kidnapping attempt of Kushina. The reason Naruto was born. And Naruto married Hinata, in which the Cloud Village also attempted to kidnap. He encountered them in a mission. Minato probably wanted to learn the Flying Thunder God to counter or keep up, as he sees the Cloud Village ninjas as a threat. And what if Tobirama's creating the Flying Thunder God as not only a counter for the Uchiha but was also aware of the Lightning based ability from another land that requires a counter or keep up with speed. Then again Tobirama is just the Greatest Kage Of All Time.

Cloud was never even close to the Leaf village. Cloud's head ninja was one shot by Hinata's dad. They kept trying to obtain the Byakugan because they kept getting fodderized by Hyuugas. Hidden cloud is more stable. The problem with Konoha is that most of the damage that is done in Konoha is done by shinobis of Konoha such as Madara, Obito, Danzo, Orochimaru. Konoha is ruled by idiots and they create problems. They are the strongest because of crazy powerful ninjas but not stable and as a result, their powers are all over the place. Also, one other big weakness is that they are in the center and is an easier target for everyone. This is the opposite of Hidden Cloud, where they are extremely stable and loyal and strengthens themselves gradually. Also, they have 2nd strongest group of ninjas after Konoha. Honestly aside from 2nd Hokage, there have been like no good Hokage. Maybe Kakashi was a great Hokage but he retired so do not know what happened during that time.

How would he had dealt with the politics of the hyuuga's and Uchiha's any differently than how Hiruzen could do and without the elders getting in his way? Sure, he was a genius in terms of jutsu being able to create a brand new one just by watching a tailed beast bomb and making the rasengan, fluent in sealing jutsu thanks to connections with his wife and of course the flying raijin (which then later got retconned to be Tobirama's). But that doesn't tell much about how he'd do so politically. He most definitely wouldn't had let Orochimaru get away since I think Orochimaru left a little after the nine tails attack? It's quite interesting but again Its hard to say, he obviously wasn't hesitant on killing thanks to his experience in war but he wasn't cold hearted either.

He gave them the Konoha police force which was to both watch them but at the same time give the Uchiha clan a lot of prestige. In addition, in his team, there was an Uchiha clan member. He was a founder and had concerns for Uchiha but then he died and the 3rd Hokage messed it all up. 2nd Hokage built a good system for Konoha but it was up to the successors to improve Konoha. Hidden Cloud is basically smart. They're able to basically be aware of anything culturally with other nations because of trade (whereas other villages had to deal with the smaller ones.) They didn't treat their Jinchuuriku like spawns of satan and basically trained them. They know when to retreat. Etc. Hidden Leaf advantage is pretty much super OP ninjas and population. Even their deflectors are wild. Population is key here cause as far as we know the gold and silver brothers were the only real rebel. But as you noted they were still kept discreetly under their umbrella.

The Jinchurikis of the cloud village were also treated badly, like in all the other villages, which is why only Bee managed to control the Bijuu. The differentiating factor was never the cloud village's methodology to control the Bijuu, but Bee, he made the difference, he was the one who found a way to dominate the Bijuu, basically befriending the beast, that was the trick, but They were never going to achieve it by force and that was what the cloud village and all the other villages wanted.

Tobirama might be underrated imo. He invented jutsu left and right and he one shot Izuna, a confirmed mangekyou user and brother to Madara, and who was also overpowered Tobirama's advanced water style with fire style. And he was almost as fast as Minato who was likely the fastest ninja of all time. Tobirama was a beast. If I'm not mistaken he took the Gold and silver bros down with him. So... Great video man I always thought the Cloud was stronger fundamentally . Maybe due to their constant need to stay ahead of the game ? Over the years I've come to the conclusion each Village on home turf though is just as Strong as the other. Konoha; Every Shinobi you meet has some sort of Hidden Jutsu or a Kekkei Genkai . How the fuck do you prepare for that ? The second you're near their village you have multiple clans throwing random Jutsu out their ass. The Hidden Rock; had the Dust Element which I can only imagine , applied properly could keep a village away from wanting to attack Iwa right at their door step . Hidden Sand; An army could die just trying to find it in their desert , and then to top it all off the second you find it , Shukaku is deployed to destroy opposing forces. Hidden Mist; tactical advantage as A LOT of water Jutsu would take down anything invading their shorelines . They're very closed in and the Mist under the 2nd Mizukage probably had all sorts of Genjutsu Barriers built into it . And of course all the points you just mentioned about the Cloud and their terrain .

Oh and the Stats were just after Konoha was destroyed by Pain, basically when Konoha wasn't at its strongest and all its infrastructure was destroyed. Before that you could easily argue Konoha was on par, if not stronger than Kumogakure due to its massive population which would have translated into a huge military and prosperous economy.

Even before Pain Konoha had to deal with nearly losing the 3rd Shinobi War, Kyubi Incident as well as Konoha Crush. Konoha was no where near as prosperous as it was during the First and Second Hokage Era. Konoha was basically destabilized and just barely getting their shit back together. In comparison Kumogakure was only a participant in the 1 and 3rd War and was technologically stronger than Konoha meaning they've been ahead for quite some time and was always more prosperous.

@@rizefamilz2563 Well no, Konoha didn't nearly lose the 3rd Shinobi war world, they signed an armistice not a surrender. The reason why there was so much political pressure on Hiruzen to end the war, was because fighting a 3v1 war from 3 different sides was very much economically and demographically really costly and people wanted out of it. Konoha essentially stalemated 3 villages, 2 of which were the next 2 strongest villages after Konoha. However I would agree with some points there, the Kyubi incident really hurt Konoha, not only killing off a portion of the population, it also took out the guy who kept the stalemate from the 3rd shinobi world war by himself (Minato). The Uchiha massacre took out some of the strongest people in the village, (Shishui, Fugaku and Itachi leaving) and a good portion of the population most of which were very talented shinobi and then Konoha Crush came around after which not only did Konoha lose more of it's population, they also lost the last remaining Uchiha, who defected, and their jinchuriki going off on an adventure outside of the village with one of the 2 remaining Sannin. The 3 years between Sasuke retrieval and Shippuden should have been the worst years for Konoha both economically and military since the village was founded.....

If you really want to look into it, Kumo as we are introduced to it, is run by a big loud muscled black man wearing gold bracelets and cornrows, with a brother that's a rapper. If that's not the epitome of stereotype, I don't really know what is. I can understand why a predominantly Japanese art form doesn't have a lot of black people in it, so the representation in anime doesn't really matter as much to me. That said, if there was a spinoff which focused on the history and founding of Kumo, I'd be game to watch/read it, given that they have such a heavy focus on kenjutsu and taijutsu.

Beating Anbu isn't really a flex. Anbu are mainly trained and used for assassinations, not direct combat.

Ngl I feel like Kishimoto messed up writing the hidden cloud. A lot of the things you mention in this video just break the balancing in the rest of the Naruto world. I mean Hashirama, the god of shinobi, a reincarnation of Ashura, a man who could level mountains with ease died after fighting for 24hrs straight but the 3rd raikage fought an onslaught for 72hrs straight etc. Then on top of that things like the gold and silver brothers being the only ones who we know was directly descended from the sage of six paths even tho they don’t seem to have inherited any genetic traits aside from having a lot of chakra just don’t seem to fit

The 3rd Rai's feat is extremely underrated and overlooked imo but let's clarify that Hashirama was fighting Madara when he died. Madara alone is likely stronger than the forces that the 3rd was tearing through so judging from battle time in this context isn't such a good idea for power accuracy. Though true, the Hidden Cloud had the 3rd Raikage, Ay, Killer Bee and 8 Tails, Kin/Gin; esc so yes they were op. Most of the strong shinobi in Konoha were kicked out or dead by the time the Cloud came into prominence though. Konoha wasn't in good form. The top fighters in Konoha at the time was Minato (no Kyubi half), the Sannin, Hiruzen, and the wild Kyubi. I think that's comparable to the Cloud if nothing else though.

It is a series with three spinoff of the three main characters And the development was incredible I think Naruto as a series would have benefited. They could have had a Sasuke spinoff for instance with his training with orochimaru. So while Naruto is doing his thing they have a side series showing Sasuke. The plot of Naruto was far to fast paced in shippuden. They never really developed the other jinchurriki Or the clans. True. You can add him, but how they did it is different. He has a direct counter to shukaku, and hashirama is quite literally born with a kekkei genkkai that seals things. Those to are powerful but they not only a type advantage but their abilities come with the power to seal their respective tailed beast(or all of them in hashiramas case) the raikage just beat theirs into submission and have them sealed afterwards.

this is a bit of a head canon, but I think Kumo has a reputation for stealing Kekkei-Genkai from other ninja-villages, like when they tried to steal the Byakugan from Hinata or Kushina for her Uzumaki chakra; that would also explain why there are shinobi like Daodai (the rubber lava release guy) & Toroi of the Magnet release in Kumo who have Kekkei-Genkai not commonly associated with the Land of Lightning

About the lava stil: That kg is the most spreaded Kekkei genkai in naruto. Whe have it in Kiri by mei. Whe have it in the cloud. Than was one of the original Akatsuki member a lava stil user. Konoha keeps increasing in strength due to its own internal conflict cycle. They begin with strong fighters, they get killed by someone related to konoha, the village developes new fighters to fill in the gap, and the cycle repeats. Sukumo got killed by village belief, Minato got killed by Obito, the Uchiha got killed by Itachi, Shusui basically got killed by Danzo, Sautobi got killed by Orochimaru. If the leaf didn't develop new fighters at an accelerated rate then it would have already died off already.

I still think if there was a war to go down at this very time and place of the Naruto Realm that the leaf would still win. Yes it would be decimating but the Leaf would win at the end of it. The Leaf still have the two strongest ninjas alive even with their own disabilities at the time (Sasuke losing his eye & Naruto losing Kurama). Sakura is still by far not weak anymore but to say the cloud would strike and win this is beyond me. Sasuke with the Hashirama arm would create himself to be in a new level and instantly solve his problems. Naruto is still one of the strongest based off his pure power, IQ, speed, and massive amounts of Chakra. Science only leads to great discoveries that can unearth something far beyond greater than a large amount of chakra cannons. Well the Minato vs killer bee wasn't a draw. Just let for a fact that they both attacked. Minato had his kunai at his throat, that's an instant kill while bee had his sword for Minato's stomach. when you consider that Minato had his marked kunai lying in safe housed in the village he could have easily teleported back to the village healed and be back and action like nothing ever happened. Secondly we don't know that if hashirama died in a battle so konoha's losses aren't as bad as exaggerated.

When it comes to konoha. The arguments put in place do not excuse the fact that Konoha has 2 shinobi's with sage of six paths abilities: naruto and sasuke. Again the third raikage soloing a whole army is great. But nothing comes close to Madara soloing all the shinobis of all the great ninja nations + samurais from the land of iron united under 1 banner. And then orochimaru having to bring back dead shinobis to stop the mess Madara and obito had made. Who surprise surprise were themselves shinobis of konoha. It coulb be said, their militay system are better than Leaf village, Cloud also more prosperous and more developed nation than Leaf. So in average, their soldier are better than Leaf. But unlike other villages, many top strongest bloodline come from Leaf. Like Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, Hyuuga and Sarutobi, so Konoha strengths mostly come from a special bloodline that exist in that village.

We don't know about Ai or B having kids....Minato had to do what he did, to save his blood. 3rd Raikage did it for the "village" that his son/blood was living. Had Minato had no "weakness" he'd be alive now too.

Madara could beat a tailed best and I'm sure he took control of kurama because it was easier even without the Rinnegan he still had susano so he would win and Yugito is being underrated she should have had more screen time
