You have my attention! My wife would say this is sacrilege, but I want to try it! I go to the Asian grocery often and they have all the Ramen options there and it's impossible to pick based on packaging but this would allow me to taste the intriguing ones and find ones worth buying . Thanks for reviewing, and I will go there this week!

Im more of a cold food & drink person until it gets cold out, so I'm planning to return in the winter to warm myself up. I was running hot all day yesterday after eating this, lol. Its a cool place, so many things to try.

That looks super fun, the Koreatown down in Centreville seems to be starting to outpace Annandale nowadays.

It def is, and it is becoming more than just Korean. Taco Chinoz is opening there. HAngry Joes (actually Korean owned, but hot chicken), Tippy's Tacos is still there (not for long I think), the French Bakery.

Several restaurant ramens I had were spectacular. Ren's Ramen in Wheaton, MD was the best when I tried it years ago. Volcano Ramen in Rockville, MD has some great appetizers and side dishes to go with thier spicy ramen. Bet you've probably tried them.

I never got much into the actual ramen spots. I tried about a handful and settled upon Marumen in Fairfax as my favorite one because they have a marinaded chicken they add that is amazing. The place in this video is kind of like a Tik Tok trendy spot. Its straight up ramen in boiling water with very weak toppings to choose from.

Got to try that spot. THnx.

It's pretty good. I should have been more adventurous in my choice. The Washingtonian said the owner is going to have "Horse Flavor" Ramen at some point...I wasn't going to go there, but I should have gone outside of beef.

zoo its essentially those packs of ramen you can get at a place like Lotte + Toppings for $10?
@DMVAdventures2 ай бұрын
It’s basically one dollar Ramen noodles, for $5.50. If you add toppings, it’s 350 extra. I think they’re gonna have some unique flavors that you might not be able to find at a store and they’re going to add new toppings just to make it more bang for your buck. You could easily re-create this at home for half the price. But it’s kind of fun

@@DMVAdventuresAhhh that makes sense but yeah I think it's an experience worth trying at least once.

Overrated. It was expensive … better just going to Asian market buying your own ramyun and eating it that way

But what’s the fun in that?

Sorry, but you lost me on this one. What an incredibly dumb concept. You can pick any and all of these up at Super H or Ranch 99 or a host of other places.

If you just went for Ramen only, you are paying $5.50 for a $1 item. However, if I made what I ordered at home I'd have to buy and fry tofu, chop up an onion, chop up green onions, buy tempura flakes, buy mozzarella cheese, etc. All for 1 meal of Ramen. Same reason I go to a salad bar instead of buying 10 ingredients to use once and have it expire in my fridge. I won't go back here though. It just doesn't taste very good because its just regular ramen. They need much better toppings and a much bigger selection of toppings.

@@DMVAdventures Still a whole lot cheaper than Jinya or Maruchan!
