This is so interesting, loved watching this live. One thing I picked up on was that Veno attempted to place this exact wall at '1:06' before his death to Kami at '1:25'. This should have given him the indication that he couldn't build here before eventually trying to again in the gunfight. Very unfortunate from him, just shows how small margins play a huge part in games.

I know you talked about Clix and Dukez winning a game, but can I just mention how insane it was that both them and Pinq and Anas placed top 20 while contesting each other? You mentioned how Cented and Cold as well as Larson and Smite both placed incredible despite being contested as well. I hope this will make people realize that being contested isn't the end of the world in big tournaments.

The tournament was great! It was the best tournament since world cup. EU is just insane! Although players like Vadeal & JannisZ, or Rezon & Aqua didn't place good, this region dominated the whole tournament. GG's also to Brazil!

idk why everyone keeps saying whoever wins this fight wins the tournament, when IF SETTY AND KAMI WIN THEY GUARANTEE to win. even if queasy and veno win this fight whos to say that they dont die shortly after, or before placement etc? i get that their match history would suggest they would easily get the points etc, but them being at an entirely different drop spot may lead to them dying earlier than they have in prior games. just saying IF queasy and veno killed kami and setty there, thats only 4 elim points, and would still need 8 more points total to tie them and 9 more to end up winning.
