Good job Mary, really liked the beginning. Just curious, if you’re giving them all the dirt you dug out of that big hole what are you going to do to fill it back up after burning all the roots. I know you’re gonna have to do a lot of leveling before you can start building after taking so many trees out.

With tow truck levelling clay, try going slower.Its really claggy compared with the light sand. 😊😊

From what I can see, that hard wood you're splitting is Honey Locust. One of the best firewood you can get. Too bad you didn't have more of the smaller trees that got burned up. They could have been cut into firewood lengths and would be dry by now. Of course anything you are cutting now is too wet to burn now. Even trees that are standing dead contain a lot of moisture. Hope you come up with enough dry wood to get you through the winter. Enjoy watching you guys work, and I've been watching faithfully since you started preparing the property to move the camper into the barn. It sure looks a lot different now. Too bad you didn't have the tractor or the backhoe from the beginning. Have a great day.

A pit to burn the tree stumps rather than have them lay around as an eyesore waiting for them to rot away. They like a clean yard.

You need a more powerful splitter that runs on gas it more powerful need 20 ton or more especially if that’s going to be how you heat your house up that little electric splitter isn’t gonna last long we have two of them gas splitter. Ours is 27 ton.
