Interestingly, with hidden evidence, forced evidence does actually impact the probability of a certain ghost being the correct ghost. In Nightmare, there are 72 (i.e. 24*3) possible ghost/evidence combos since each ghost can hide 1 of 3 evidence. Forced evidence takes away 5 of these options, one each for Deogen, Goryo, Hantu, Moroi, and Obake. Since ghosts are equally likely to be chosen, this means at the start of the game, there is a 1.389% ((1/24)*(1/3)) chance for each non-forced combo, and a 2.083% ((1/24)*(1/2)) chance for each forced combo. Once you know the evidence, a number of options are ruled out, but this disparate chance for the ghost/evidence combos of the forced evidence ghosts causes a different chance of them being the correct ghost. I'll use the example at 27:00 for a visualization. Since we know the evidence shown are Ghost Writing and Spirit Box, we filter the ghost/combo options to that list. We are left with the following options and their original chance to appear with that evidence set (ruling out Moroi): Deogen: 2.083% Mare: 1.389% Poltergeist: 1.389% Spirit: 1.389% This means the sum of all the valid ghost/evidence options is 6.25% and can divide each probability by the total to see what the chance the ghost is one of these. That yields a 1/3 (33%) chance to be a Deogen and a 2/9 (22%) chance to be the other ghosts. This is certainly counter intuitive but is actually a version of a well known paradox called the Monty Hall problem. Because we know each ghost is equally likely from the start, when the game hides an evidence, it is encoding probabilistic information about the ghost/evidence combo in the same way that Monty Hall encodes information about the doors and sheep.

on the topic of fingerprints on that last round, we had a banshee the other week that left 1 set of fingerprints during the hunt. it was in the back bathroom in bleasedale, touched the door multiple times, we got multiple interaction photo's but no fingerprints. We were at a loss with which ghost it was, assumed it was obake that just didn't shapeshift during hunt much then turned out to be a banshee... we were so confused

I dont really use social media myself, only youtube and discord, but this videio still made me realise that instead of sitting and watching youtube, i could sit and do whst i love to do, and that is make/produce music, i love making music but i always end up going away from it because i wanted to watch youtube. I don't know if you or anyone else has done this, but can you do a video where you just say your thought process? Like, I have seen a lot of videos where something, or nothing happens and everyone just goes "Obake" or whatever the ghost is. It gets confusing cause there are so many and I am trying to learn through videos and playtime.

I'm not sure if you would like this idea for tarot cards but The Fool - is starting on a new adventure. Forgo items that aren't there on the start. Survive a hunt with video camera, dots, emf, spiritbox, notebook, flashlight and UV to claim a spin. High Priestess - calls for your intuition. Go for some spins for two free items. Hermit - is removed from society. Respect the Ghost's personal space and find the bone before the next hunt to claim an spin. Wheel of Fortune Luck - have faith in the universe. Spin for free item. Wheel of Fortune Misfortune - Prepare for a bumpy ride. Survive until a hunt is over with no light source to claim a spin. Hanged Man - look at the world from a new perspective. Gain 1 spin for your next life. (carries over to next game if no High Priestess to Revive) Death - heralds new beginnings. Next game you get only tier 1 items to use. (stacks for multiple games if you get more than 1 death card) Devil - encourages you to indulge Allowed to use the another cursed item in the house. Tower - prepare for a storm. Survive being trapped in the current room you are in until the next hunt is over. Survive to claim a spin. Moon - reminds you of your trauma. Next game you lose 1 smudge stick (stacks) Sun - promises you sunny days ahead. Allowed to turn on the breaker.

I challenge you to try playing the game, but you can only use one equipment slot (aka you can only hold one item at a time). Seems simple enough but I think it could be difficult especially with harder difficulties when you don’t have the ability to smudge.

I've been watching you since... I think late 2020? After finding that big 1 mill video of the insane demon you fought against w/ a full team so long ago, and honestly, it's so refreshing to watch your videos every time. They're enjoyable to play when I'm doing college work and you're so interactive w/ your chat & the games you play. PLEASE keep doing these 2-hour long videos because I love watching them!
