For istant scrap all you have to do is claim the ship (sending 1 unit), ad a crew quarter to the exterior of the ship with an airlock connected and delete everything else from it. You can do it becouse you are tecnically "reparing it". Remember to have the carrier nearby and you will find everything inside it. For what is left all you have to do is add and remove parts to the ship untill there is nothing left on the ground. Mulitions and raw material have to be picked up from the crew.

You can transfer the crew back to the original ship before he even leaves that ship and you still get controll of the new ship. You can then delete everything and just leave fully destoyed parts which will disappear when you exit build mode.

If you open up your fighters formation, they could focus together at one target with one command instead of three. It wouldn't spread the damage around, but it would let them drill through the hull faster.

Very true but spreading the damage takes them down faster. Plus having them in formation makes them adjust slower

The final fight against the pirate station sure was cool... Man, gotta say, Executors are incredibly weak for how high level they are. *6:12* Also, the miner ship needs backwards thrust a lot.
