Love seeing these, but what if you had a decent start but a terrible mid-game? Could that be more difficult because you lose tempo? Maybe something like a challenge like this with dramatic ages? That's a great suggestion! I've thought about giving the AI additional bonuses in the mid game, but I do like the idea of a mod which reduces production, science, or whatever as you go along.

idea: play with the buffs the AI gets on diety against prince difficulty AI. The caveat is that all the AIs are on the same team and have max level alliances with each other. I don't know how tricky that last part would be to make work, but the idea is that its like a horde mode

do you have a deity guide ? would love to see your strats as when i play deity specifically (unmodded) and have an army that will invade a weak city within the next turn the ai suddenly has units that are eras ahead and builds a wall in 2 turns defying all physics and logic
