I don't know why but "things can age" just has such "life needs things to live" energy and I love it

That ending was heartbreaking, especially with the song (sung by Matt Mercer, BTW)

Kelly's distraction tactics are so chaotic that even as someone who's seen every campaign and all episodes of LoVM I feel like I'm being gaslit

The changes from the streamed game have me wondering what M9 is going to be likely, since they said they were deviating even more in that one. I trust them, but I don't enjoy suddenly worrying about characters I thought were "safe".
@danzansandeev6033Ай бұрын
but they weren't safe per say. in campaign percy did die in fight with ripley. they just changed how it happened for dramatic purposes
@Scarshadow66622 күн бұрын
Yeah, though at least with VM's other (albeit temporary) deaths, they either changed things so that it was a near-death (like with Grog and Craven Edge) or had nods to popular/intense moments from the original campaign (like Keyleth turning into a goldfish in the Scanlan Chateau episode) - Vex and Percy may have gotten different treatment because their deaths heavily affected the overall story. They might do something similar with MN.

Ripley was like "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist."

IIRC in the campaign, King Dwendyl (however he's spelled) was one of the names on Ripley's gun. I forget if there were others that got specified, if I'm also not just misremembering/hallucinating Dwendyl's name being mentioned. But that would also suggest it was THAT Assembly and she has beef with the entire empire as a result.
@hhylobates4098Ай бұрын
Yes King Dwendal was on there, but not for a reason the animated show would make you think...
@johnobrien7562Ай бұрын
gee, thanks Marisha. having Vex trigger the trap that led to Percy's death was almost poetic.

It's definitely overshadowed by the rest of the episode, by you asked "Cerberus Assembly"? They don't say it specifically, but they do credit Mark Strong as a mage. And it seems overkill to cast someone that big for a simple flashback. And if you check out his IMDB entry, he's actually listed as a NAMED mage we all know from the Assembly... Yep. HIM. 🙂

Also, just because someone is alive in the Campaign doesn't mean they necessarily have to be alive in the show

Percy was killed by a cursed weapon so maybe they can rescue his soul from the demon and revive him.
