II is one of the most creative metal drummers out there at the moment, he is an absolute beast, I think there are still a few vids of him playing deathcore stuff from back in the day. cracking drummer.

One of the things that I love about these guys is that they wear an alias. We don’t see who they really are. It puts the music front and center only. Their music is who they are. And we don’t ever know if it’s the original two on drums, or vessel on vocals from time to time. It’s only about the music.

Recommend for her? If she is how you describe her and she needs to be slowly converted (lol) then perhaps start with Bloodsport (from the room below) or their cover of Loathes song Is It Really You. They're beautiful piano songs where vessel sings alot and for people who are used to more the Ed Sheeran, T Swift type of lane, simple beauty is easier to appreciate before they acquire "the taste" 😂
