I'm curious to see the avg age to compare these. Personally I don't follow Jimmy, not a fan, but I enjoy "behind the scenes of racing" videos like this one. But I guess the teenagers out there are not interested in the real thing, most of them probably are not even interested in simracing. They have their interest on Jimmy. And it's in his simracing videos where the jokes, etc, happen more.

There's this antient chinese story about a man who is obsessed with dragons. Had every piece of the best drawings, sculptures, literature, basically everything ever that has a dragon theme. One day a dragon decided to meet the man after finding out about him but the man was scared to death and couldn't even say a word. The story later goes on to become an idiom "葉公好龍" to describe people who only enjoy the idea or the appearance of something but not to the fullest, and is somewhat pretentious. Essentially, the uber casuals.

I remember as a young cross country runner, at the end of a 5K race I was settled in second place behind my best friend, who was a year older and I considered faster. Coming into the home stretch I passed my sister and her boyfriend who told me to get a move on. This encouraged me to find another gear I didn't know I had and I ended up sprinting past my friend and maintaining the gap to the finish as he couldn't match me (perhaps having not received the same encouragement I just had).

So great to see that even now, when you're just starting your career, you're already thinking about how you can use it to help people who didn't have the same opportunities. A lot of foundations are started by people near the end of their careers when they've already made all the money and done all the things, but it seems like it was one of your first thoughts the moment you started getting established. It's also really refreshing to hear you talk about how expensive and out of reach racing is for most people - I always feel like that's just a massively unacknowledged problem with the sport. You love to see it.
