My wife and I were at the 7:00 performance. It was a wonderful experience. Those who were also at the 9:30 show say that was even better as she and the band had one show under their belt and made some improvements. One of the highlights was when she performed a brand new song

Nice reaction! I think Angelina pretty much owns this song now. Who could sing it better than that (well, except maybe Angelina sometime in the future)? I liked your discussion of how you can sometimes understand the lyrics better when Angelina sings them than when another artist does. I feel the same and it's kind of insane because Angelina's singing is so highly stylized, especially her vowels and her inclination to intentionally drop the final syllable of certain words, etc. To be such a super vocal stylist and *still* leave your listeners able to fully grasp the lyrics? That, my fellow Angels, is a rare thing.

Wonderful reaction! My reaction to Angelina singing this is: - Lord have Mercy!! (Originally a biblical phrase, now sometimes used to express astonishment) My goodness she takes your breath away. She just slays this song - she owns it now as far as I'm concerned. And she clearly loves singing it - she's sung it in Norway in 2022, Portsmouth last Sept '23 and now in Vegas. I was so lucky to be at both of the latter concerts. She's spectacular singing live.

I wasn't there either, but this that you showed was wonderful. I hope to see this amazing young lady before nature calls me for whatever lies beyond. She has already graced my life in ways I can never repay except by emulating her love for others. Angelina is a wonder, her voice is magic, and her soul should be treasured (were there a way to capture souls for safe keeping and treasure). Yes, I like her a lot. You will benefit from listening to all of Las Vega concert, but particularly, My Funny Valentine, her identity song --> The Princess of Ruins (not released yet), and the ending ballad, One Moment in Time. All beautiful, all filled with love from this wonderful blessing to us all. I really like her a lot! and no, I can't say that enough.

Angelina is a storyteller and she understands the need to appreciate the lyrics. She's not afraid to go rogue once in awhile when she feels the song needs it. Most of her music is crisp and clean. I have on occasion when a song is not familiar to me when I have trouble making out the lyrics first listen. Two great examples of this are 'Gloomy Sunday' at 7 yrs old and her very newest song 'Princess of Ruins'. I knew of the song 'Gloomy Sunday' but had rarely heard it and I had never really listened to the lyrics. In fact I had to search out the original lyrics & listen closely to understand and "hear" the lyrics in her presentation. In her recent original 'Princess of Ruins, we had a completely new and probably the most significant song in her career. We were privileged to be the first to hear it. It will surely become Angelina's Anthem. The song is the very story of Angelina's cause, why she sings Barefoot. "Barefeet" as Angelina would say. Starting with her dream, " I want to be a Superstar & sing for the whole world" which she shared with that little shoeless girl she met. This is where the evolution of Angelina's purpose in life was revealed and why she sings Barefoot. To spread love & tolerance and inspire a need to care for those less fortunate than us. Angelina understands these young people have dreams and 'Hopes' just as we have. Angelina is singing for the children to make the world aware of the many families and children crying out for hope. Many of these children will never escape their lot in life & we need to do our part to alleviate that. Back to the song. With first listen I had difficulty in understanding the lyrics. After listening several more times and in real-time discussing and revealing the lyrics with help of Angelina's community of Angels developing a lyric video as Angelina has not released one as yet. Now they sound clear as day to me. The other thing I was impressed with was how well Angelina and the band did replicating the original music so fantastically. I was surprised how clean they were sung. I thought she sounded better live than that produced in the studio. Something I seldom see. But then again, when we look back at her performances live at 8 - 10 years old, many of those performances sounded like they could be released as is (I believe 'What a Difference a Day Makes' was indeed taken from her performance at kurbaghaven at 8 yrs old) because they sounded studio quality which is one of the reasons she sucks us in with the story she sings to us. She'll make it over there and you will certainly appreciate the singing of the most beautiful voice in the world. In My Opinion. 🙂 Thank you for a truly enjoyable reaction. ♥👣😇

Hi Lieben-Töten Reacts, It was nice that you chose this video I filmed of Angelina Jordan in Las Vegas. You pronounced my first name correctly the second time you said Knut. You say K as C in "car" and u as the u in "suit".👍 I filmed all 19 songs she sang, taken from both concerts. However, I didn't catch 'Moon River' from the second concert, because Angelina then chose to sing 'Unchained Melody'. Angelina held 2 concerts the same evening, 7.00 PM and 9.30 PM, where she performed a total of 38 songs! Amazing that she has managed to train her voice to do this. But as she herself says: "singing - is like breathing for me". It was a fantastic evening where Angelina showed what she was good at. Absolutely incredible how she can express herself like this, with full control in her use of voice, so varied, delicate and touching. Also - remember this is the legendary stage at Westgate where Elvis had his 800 shows!!!❤️🎺

My only complaint about what I've seen of the videos for this concert is that the band seemed to do a slower tempo than what she usually does for most of her songs. I wasn't there though, so I could be completely wrong.
