Brilliant vid as always mate, you just don't get this amount of varied content on one job from any other youtuber. The story about the "plumbers", made me chuckle mate but just no comment. When I became a sparky (it was different back then) I was mostly self taught and as I had a background in electronics it came really easy to me. I had to go on the odd course to qualify for certain jobs but my work was always passed and approved across the country. However, I often worked next to newly qualified electricians who just didn't seem to know what they were doing. I see the same with some of the more well known names who do vids on here. I don't mean to sound derogatory but they do often try to take on a God like status. You're just so modest mate about the work you do. Oh I loved the hammer on the pump though, we call it the Brummie screwdriver here in the Midlands and it solves all. Have a good weekend mate, it's already warming up here in Sandwell so It's time for the bar to open.

@Rich100002 ай бұрын
How do you price for all the expensive brass and copper fittings you use? Do you just know approximately how much it will be and add some on just incase?
@PlumbLikeTom2 ай бұрын
So I work out roughly what I think I need and get a supplier price on those items, I always add a percentage on as you always miss bits and the small bits soon add up quickly. At the end of the job I always look at where it stands, so next time when you price a similar job you know if you need more time or materials. It is experience but you quickly learn to look carefully and get a good feeling at to where to price a job. Thanks for the support mate 👍
