I've thought about putting one in my car and house. It'll have to wait until I get a different car. Mine has inherent electrical issues and I can't afford to exacerbate them.

My experience is don't waste your money. There are very few that have or use a CB, and those that do use it, not for the purpose it was designed for. If you are using it for the road, save your money. I wish we could get back to a community that we all help each other but I really think those days are gone.
