There's actually a 10+ year waiting list to live on Toronto Island. People who want to live there have to apply to be placed on a purchaser's list. When a house goes up for sale or a lease ends, offers are sent to the first 100-150 people on the wait list and the houses can only be sold or leased to people on that list.

Little recommendation - don't talk about your kid in negative way in front of him (he is latest, etc.). We might not assume that but kids understand much more than we said - confirmed by the pediatrician psychologist. She told me my then one and half years old baby already understand everything. So, just watch it not to cause him lifelong trauma:). You are a very nice mum, btw, your kids are happy to have you:)

I was the third child too and I turned out to be Highly Sensitive - Maxi reminds me a lot of myself as a kid, I would always prefer to process what was around me before acting on it (personally was always more extroverted once I was confortable). Seeing Jake and Ben in the car reminded me a lot of how overstimulated I felt when noise was too much for me to handle. You seem to be such a nurturing mom btw, your kids are very lucky to have you

Did you guys visit the other areas of the island? The gardens, the tandem bicycle rental, the beach, the restaurants, the ice cream shops and amusement park? Very kid friendly! Boys tend to start speaking later than girls. I haven't seen a girl start to speak at the age of 3 but aloooot of boys! Girls always start speaking at like 6 months-1 year, it's crazy how advanced they are compared to boys!!🙌🏻🙌🏻

Valeria, have you in later time checked Maxi’s hearing? The fact that he has such an amazing vocabulary of short simple words that one typically would say loud and clear, but few sentences, could hint a little towards poor hearing, - because longer sentences are way harder to interpret with hearing loss. You’re such a lovely family, makes my day to just see you be happy together!! :)
