Fun fact: there is a legitimate reason against using longer names to navigate some of the more memory intensive parts of the game. I.E. using a one or 2 character name can occasionally result in about a 12 second difference iirc over the whole run. That being said; the simplest one character names can also result in over 0:30 saved due to the limitations, despite the obvious weirdness of the memory management of the Wii with the GC version

I've only done about 15 automated time tests and on average it's about 2 frames per long loading screen and 1 or even 0 on the short ones. Idk if that may help or if even that's supported by literally anyone else's console or anything. I just wanted to weigh in with my own personal experience :) have a great day and gz

I found that using the pimpernel is way easier and more effective against vora over using the flaker. With the flaker, he just jumps out the way of most pellets. With a slag pimpernel, you can both slag him and shoot under him to have all pellets hit him

Aside from the fact that The Wind Waker might've had a rushed development, a lot of the glitches used in the video seem like were complex to discover. I don't think most The Wind Waker experienced players were aware of much of these up until maybe 2015 or something.
