It’s the fans fault. To many moaned about it at the time. Of course Ubisoft were going to think they needed to change and go in a different direction. We had the best AC game and the the best direction for the series, but too many fans ruined it.

Poor sales of Unity & Syndicate and the success of The Witcher 3. Ubisoft thought the poor sales was due to people not liking the game mechanics so they moved to TWesque gameplay. The reality is that the poor sales was because of the performance and glitches.

The only thing I wish Unity had is a weapon wheel... like in the Ezio trilogy, where you could seamlessly switch between a sword, short sword/dagger and the hidden blades instantaneously, especially since you could key map them to the number keys, it would be sick just seeing Arno demolish people with just hidden blades or a dagger. (or dual daggers)

Unity has some of the best parkour and assassination techniques/animations and no matter what else they changed in the games afterwards they should have kept those animations and added to it instead of redoing everything and downgrading the parkour and assassination animations

You got top memory.. and also great executor, I like the immersive style you still retain. There are players that are WAYY too mechanical, no passion, just about "win".. Maybe you could push it more but video would last 2-3 minutes more maybe. And also reducing the kills would be good. Treviso or others do it anyway that is hard but boosts realism as one would not kill everyone.

I may be alone on this, but I kinda don't like the quick shot during assassinations. It's cool and all, but it sometimes will have the target die without you stabbing them, and I don't really like that. Though, I guess if I cared and had it, I could just make sure not to do it during the assassination animation. But it doesn't matter anyways since I'm on console, just a bit of a nitpick I have with it

Where? There cuts but from the same run. When i kill the gunner for example i need to wait for guard positioning to si cut out the waiting time to keep viewer retention. There are a few cuts like that to cut out waiting times

only acutaly cuts: 0:45 Arno Jolted and I had to reinput to side eject si cut that out, 1:30 waiting time so had to wait for arno to run and jump so cut that out, 4:30 Arno got stuck on a wall so cut that out. Only if this outfit became a standard outfit. Unity has some badass outfits alone but this outfit is out of this world. I just wish Ubisoft would pull their head out of their asses and make better outfits. Cuz not gonna lie modders make better shit then the actual devs. I remember somebody making a mod of george westhouse( the assassin at the beginning of syndicate) and added Jacobs hood to it, and it was waaay better then jacobs actual outfit.

How did you quick shot while Arno is in the middle of an air assassination? I have ACUFixes, but every time I tried to do what I just said, Arno wouldn’t quickshot. He does quickshot when doing any other animation, like hanging on a building or jumping, but air assassination was the one thing he wouldn’t quickshot when the animation is running.
